Im looking for a source where i can get "Bahamian Goat Pepper" seeds that are "true". I love the "Scotch Bonnet-Shape", but many that are offered just look like a normal habanero.   Does anyone knows a seller with "true seeds" or has some seeds for sale/ trade?

Is it a scotch bonnet?

There are so much scotch bonnets out there and i wonder what the forums favorite is.   Im planning 1 or 2 varieties for next year, but im not sure which one are the best tasting.   It should have a really strong taste, because i want to cross it with a mild pepper that needs some more flavour.

Im looking for a "chinense" pepper with a very strong taste ("floral", and "fruity" too), for a "crossing project".   I didnt tested too much, the most intense for me are:   - Raw: "7Pod Yellow" - Powder: "But Jolokia"     What are the most intense "chinense" peppers you every tried?

  For myself i made the expericene, that yellow chinenses tastes way better fresh than red ones.  We you make powder out of them, it changes to the opposite. The powder from red chinenses was always much more flavourful for me. Your right, they doesnt taste the same, but for me they hadnt too...

I grew the yellow fatalii last year.   Its a good pepper, but "Yellow 7Pod" has a very similar taste and much more intensity.   The heat is nearly the same, but the "7Pod" tastes way better.

That sounds very interesting. Of course, the weather have an influence, and i always have had some milder pods on hot plants, but never such a major heat difference.   If your lucky you got a "mutant", like "bhut copenhagen" is one.   I love mid-heat chinense peppers, and will definetely have an...

Roccotos need 2 things:   a moderate climate, and a lower temperature at night. They originate in the andes mountains in south america, where it is gets really cold at night.   Plant them in a "not-too-suny" location, and far away from the house, or anything that could hold the temperature...
