Chuck,   I have never transplanted from a hydroponics medium to soil,  In your experience, how long does it take them to get acclimated to soil and start growing again.  I know transplanting from soil to soil (potting up) can sometimes set them back more than I would like, so I am just wondering...

I would second the MOA.    Nothing against Fataliis, but I love the flavor and smell of Bonnets

Jim,   Thanks for letting us know about Scott.  It has been quite lately and I sure hope he starts to feel better soon.  He has been teaching a lot of us through his Glog and I always look forward to seeing what new things he has done as well as how nice his garden looks.   Here is praying for...

I like that Manzano.  Looking real healthy for this time of the year.   Just wait till it takes off.   I bet it will need supports for all the fruit it will have.   Nice kick off, pray for sun!

The plants love the green house around this time of the year.  It is like a sauna in there when it is only around 60-70 degrees outside.  I actually leave the door open as well as the louvers at the opposite end, but it still gets pretty warm.  The plants get use to the sunshine so I don't have...

Jim,  No I have not tried growing a Jalamundo yet.  There sure is a lot of different varieties with the Jalapenos.   I have no idea what happens if I go to heavy on Calcium, and I hope it is nothing bad.  I have read a lot about various nute lock out from having to much of something and having...

OK,   Later than I have said, but here are some pictures of where I am so far.  Have yet to get only of the peppers planted in the ground, as the tomatoes had gotten so tall, I used the time to get them planted.  Got all 22 tomatoes (11 varieties) in the garden and staked down and cages around...

Nice,   Glad you saved those from the garbage.  I bet the plants are going to like that extra light and special attention. Thanks for the info.   I will have to remember and take some pictures next time.  Not sure what causes the difference.  Still have the same heat!

Chuck,   Just curious, but do you notice that your previously frozen pods dry to a different color or shade than the same pods that had not been frozen.  I get some of mine to almost become translucent compared to the same species that were fresh before I put them in the dehydrator.   Bill

    The Pacific Northwest GLOG 2015

OK,  Will get some taken today, as I plant on getting some of these plants planted out this weekend.  Getting to darn crowded in the greenhouse, and the tomatoes are way to tall to be in those little pots.  Their feet need dirt!   Will get the pictures.  Now just keep your fingers crossed that...

Chuck,   Nice to see your Glog.   Been getting caught up.   Interesting t see that you found plants that still had live roots from last years crop.  I will be interested in seeing how that 7-pot does this year.  Keep us posted.   Liked those 6 sided pots, sure allows you to put them close...

Turbo 2015 Pepper Growing: Keeping It Simple (Stupid)

Does the fish compost stink or attract animals?    I ask, because last year my dogs really got into the habit of eating the soil out of my pots.  I could not figure out why this new strange fascination with my potting soil, but this year I noticed that they only did it to the soil mix that I had...

Wow Scott, that wind and rain made a real mess of your beautiful garden.  I really hope the plants bounce back after some sun and dry weather.  You have had one of the nicest looking gardens.  Here is hoping that because your plants were so healthy, that they recover quickly.   Hoping for the best.
