    The Pacific Northwest GLOG 2015

Just a big shout out and thanks to Turbo.  Yesterday, he gave me one of his Chero Roxa plants and a Aji Panca.   I love the color of the Chero, and am looking forward to seeing this one grow out this year.   Will get a picture taken someday!

Turbo 2015 Pepper Growing: Keeping It Simple (Stupid)

I this it is called photoshop'd.  I spill plenty, which is why the potting up is done outside or in the greenhouse where when things spill on the floor, I don't worry to much.   LOL

Turbo 2015 Pepper Growing: Keeping It Simple (Stupid)

I will take you up on that.  I really want to keep the count down, but love the look of that plant and have heard some good reviews about the pepper itself.   Thanks   PM send

Paul,  Thanks for the info.   I just really like the look of Bonsai plants.   I have never grown any, but sure am tempted, but not sure I have the patience to wait 15 years!  Still itching though. Bill

Jim,  The windows are sort of opaque.  They are a corrugated type acrylic.  Nothing expensive, but it does help add strength.  Might help if I was to wash the windows before I take pictures again!  They do get algae or something on them on the outside, but you do need to be careful washing it...

Turbo 2015 Pepper Growing: Keeping It Simple (Stupid)

Turbo, Nice roots, time to get them plants in the ground!   Love the color of your Chero plants.  Mine did not make it this year, but there is always next year.    I did scale back this year to less than half of last years.  112 pepper plants ready for the garden this year, so i was actually...

    Devv's 2015 - 16, Life is good!

Wow Scott,   The garden sure is looking good this year.  I thought my Comfrey was doing well this year and really getting a jump on the season until I saw yours!  nice job.   Love the pineapple shots.  Going to have to watch these this year!   Beautiful new guitar(s).  They should help to keep...

Paul,  Just a question of the bonsai.  How well do they handle the winters, especially the pines, or do you have to move them all indoors or into the greenhouse?

Nice to have fresh homegrown tomatoes at this time of the year!   Pictures of the future to come for me!

    The Pacific Northwest GLOG 2015

Jim,   I have a small greenhouse that I use for my peppers, once they outgrow the indoors, and prior to planting them in their final spot outdoors.   I have never had to cover it to help harden them up, I just move them in and let them stay there for a few (or several) weeks and them just put...

Turbo 2015 Pepper Growing: Keeping It Simple (Stupid)

Nice garlic bed you have going.  Pretty good success rate.   Those Cheiro Roxa sure are a pretty looking plant,  healthy and great color!

Scott,   Best of luck beating this.  You got to save up all your health so you can retire and have more fun in the garden!   Fun watching your grow this year!

Turbo 2015 Pepper Growing: Keeping It Simple (Stupid)

Turbo, Boy do I agree with this one regarding the peat pots.  They do seem to get to wet and stay that way to long and with the humidity domes, mine then get a green mold/slime on the top surface.  But the ones that get past that point seem to do fine, just that I had a higher percentage of ones...

    The Pacific Northwest GLOG 2015

Jim, My grow is coming along OK so far.  I did have to re-plant about 30 of the seedlings, as I let them get to wet and they died on me.  My fault, so I will be watching the soil a lot better this time around.  Now I am just trying to figure out where I am going to put them all as they get...

    The Pacific Northwest GLOG 2015

Wow Jim,  Nice set of roots on that plant. They must really like what you are feeding them.    Not sure you need the HPS light for growth after seeing this.  You might be in 3 gallon pots by the time plant-out comes!   LOL

    The Pacific Northwest GLOG 2015

Jim,   Let me add my 2 cents here.  A 400 watt bulb will help, but you can also accomplish the task with lower cost T8 lights and save a bundle in the process.  You just need to keep the lights close to the plants and if they grow at different rates, you just need to move the plants around so...

Organic Pepper  That is a very nice offer you made to ColdSmoke.   If he needs seeds and you do not have them let us know, because I have plenty extras and I am sure there are many of us in the same boat.  After a few years growing peppers, we end up with more seeds than we will ever be able to...
