Picked a few more today.  Had to weed my way to the plant after being on the gone for a week.     Total: 779 + 192 = 971g    

Work has had me all over the place so I have been slacking.  Sadly many pods have dried on the vine.  That means they taste great dried - but they don't weigh anything!   :mope:   Total: 366 + 413 = 779g      

Total: 180 + 186 = 366g   I've noticed the plant seems incredibly fragile.  If you sneeze on it you break a branch.   Edit: Dried a bunch and they make a very tasty powder.  Looking forward to a surplus for winter.

  Aw!  It looks like it could still make it.  Just give it some water, once, and see if it comes back.  I've had some drop all of their leaves and still survive.  Over watering seems to be the biggest danger during recovery.

The recent heat seems to be helping my flowers and peppers.  I'm about 1 month behind from the earlier wet / cold.     Total: 16 + 104 = 120g

I've been slacking on updates.  Sorry friends.  Lots of work travel.   I have two different types.  One is the long pod and the other is the short upward facing pod.  I assume the contest variety is the long pod.    Edit:  Did some reading.  Will be weighing the long pods for the comp.  Still...

Lookin' good!!!   I've been slacking with updates!  Weather has been cold and rainy so they went inside for a few nights.  

    I changed the bleach ratio for this and future feedings.  I didn't have any Epsom salt so I dissolved some sea salt with it.  :shrug:

  Tons of flowers but my usual pollination techniques haven't produced fruit.  It's as if they are sterile flowers.  I wonder if my nute mix is too nitrogen heavy (vs P & K) - pushing growth at the expense of fruit.   

  Hope so - lots of flowers.  I'm not sure if it's the bleach ratio but none seem to be producing pollen.         Thanks!!  :)

Very jealous of the plant out line slowly moving north.  Great lookin' plants crew!   Pepper update.  My tent is a mess trying to make a home for the ladybugs.   My longtime neighbor and I agreed to plant some green giant arborvitae in the alley between our houses.  We each own 50% of it length...

  April - May time frame.  I like to see 10 day lows in the mid 40's but mostly 50's.  The last two years we have had late frosts.  3 years ago I had plants in the ground and the grass cut today.  :shrug:   It's a real PITA lugging the 50 gal grow bag in and out on my own when wet.  So my...
