Well the Pepperoncini came up and they don't look like the mystery plant at all.   Updated the grow room with some trays and 10k more lumens of 5000k       FC isn't too bad! That is at the level of the plants, I should be at 1300FC if I drop it 6-8"  

Well the cool thing is, I have 2 more hooks popping up right next to it in the same cup. So we will see in a day or so! Maybe its a mutant!  

Thats what I said! Idfk!?!? They look like cotyledons... I have never grown pepperoncini, I just thought maybe it's a pepperoncini thing. I have never seen that on a pepper. It looks more like a bean or something

Some seedlings are going bag-less!   The Purple Ornamental Damped off...  It has some other hooks coming up though.   Every thing else got a coat of cinnamon to fight any fungal junk.   Hatch just came up, I think the yellow is just from it coming out of the shell and should turn green   WTH...

I think I learned this from Guru years ago. logically I get it, the more the leaves have to push through the medium, the more it pulls on the shell of the seed.  Classic overcoming adversity and becoming stronger because of it. What doesn't kill yah, makes yah stronger.   Waiting an extra 24hrs...

  I'm aware, that's why I said something There wasn't in 2014 when I wrote The Pest Guide, If that was gone, I could update it and maintain it. It would be a nice tool to have on here. 

Here we go!   Got a few seedlings. First one up was Sugar Rush Peach followed by Pepperoncini.     I got lots of hooks, things are about to get busy.     Also, The worm bin arrived. Nothing too special, it was just a cheap amazon splurge LINK I will say this one is better than the Worm Factory...

  One trick to prevent helmet head, sow a little deeper 1/2" rather than 1/4" deep makes a difference. I don't think they look Damped off either.     If you are worried about Mildew/Damping Off, you should be, then try a little cinnamon on the top of the soil. YouTube it if you have questions...

Temperature is far more important. Between 80-90F is optimal for germination. Lights can help achieve these temps... but so can a xbox, refridgerator, heater vent, cable box, between your legs...    I'm sure you get the point.
