We had lots of damage not too far from you in Wrightsville. Trees down everywhere. Still without power 24hrs later. Garden is in Hellam and was completely spared of damage!

I haven't tried many of the varieties you've listed, but I really like Alma. They are sweet, juicy and very tasty fresh and would be great stuffed or sliced on a salad or whatever. My wife even likes em! :dance: Hoping enough pods survive fresh consumption to be made into paprika.
Ajijoe has a variety called Hot Ecuador that most definiely has some frutescense in it. Pod texture is nearly identical to tobasco but the entire plant has purple hues to it and the pods start a dark purple and ripen to red. I tried some back to back with some tobascos last year at Meadowview...
