Just for reference the plant in question is producing pods with a sweet almost raisin flavor and a heat level of about half jalapeno level. The jalapeno bacon I just had from Denny's  is much hotter.   Smooth skinned and this is one of the smallest pods, most are about 3 1/2 to 4 inches long...

We are currently working on a way to get food shipped into them. The biggest issue is their customs, and the fact that some of their postal workers are not as... honest, about opening packages and helping themselves. Right now, some limited food stuffs can be sent with Fed X but it is expensive...

Update 6-12-16 cont.       The mango trees will be able to be planted in the spring.  I have a very long wait for fruit from most of these started from seed lol   The battle with Kudzu continues and I am sure it will be a never ending thing.

  Sorry everyone. I have been slack in updating this project.   No big progress on the looks of the yard. I have gotten most of the small trees I want to find new homes for up and potted so I can take them away. The rest are slated for removal over the summer.   The young fruit trees are doing...

  Sadly the soil under it was treated with many chemicals over many years. We are not growing any food type plants in it till I am able to remove some of the bad and add fresh good soil.
