      The olives are not the pickled version of the green ones.  I will add fresh jalapenoes when I start getting pods off of my 30 jalapeno pepper plants.

    I would guess that the smaller black plants get a little less sunlight than the tall green one.  They get shaded from the bigger plant.

    This is my triple planted black pearl. One is taller and only bears a little purple on the veins of the leaves and stalk. Is that one some sort of cross.

    Bad compost tea?

      Are you using well aerated fluffy worm castings?  Or are you using saturated castings that have become anaerobic?  I have several worm bins.  The fluffy castings have a far better smell than the soggy castings.  Anaerobic bacteria stinks.

    After plants are healthy you can help control the bad bacteria with good bacteria by applying aerated compost tea. I usually use aerated worm casting tea at least twice a month.
