well you have two stuffing peppers - cow horn, and poblano - of the two I prefer Pablano.
Aji's I personally like, but some people say they taste like soap to them. So your mileage may vary.
You have to grow one primo/reaper and eat at least one pod so you can say you've tackled the current...
Alaska... Colorado.... So hard to tell apart.
PROBABLY they have a mail chimpanzee located in one office as an experiment to see if they can save a few dollars...
Mail gets handed to the mail chimp, and he decides what box it goes in. Sometimes he gets it right, sometimes your seeds go to...
*cough* its You're not Your. One is possessive - eg your tractor, your car, your Butt-hurt - something you own. VS something someone else is - eg You're a pain, you're my friend, you're out of pickles, or even you're butt-hurt.
Carry on.
I'd be interested to try shipping it to someone. I have a Paper Lantern cross thats kind of fun. I should get a couple more flowers once this arctic "blast" passes me here in Florida.
The good: I too am blown away. I sent him a list of things I was interested in, and woke up a few days later to having four sfrb in my mailbox. Every pepper was perfect.
I counted a little over 50 varieties, some are new to me, some were to refresh the seed in my vault. All were tagged using...
anything but Pubes should do well, and you may have better luck with those than I do here in central florida on the west coast.
What are you looking for? I can probably hook you up.
What I've been reading the last couple nights is that as long as its dried first, it should be good for 3-6 months... So 2-3 days (dried first) in an envelope shouldn't be a problem.
Well I like them, so I'll save seeds. We shall see what comes next year. I have another one I need to get and post pictures of, its a moruga shape, with a cayenne heat.
I was thinking it could be criolla sella as well. I had ordered a box of OP pods last year that included Criolla Sella - and they would have been in the mix of seeds these were grown out from, so its possible that its a Criolla Sella x Paper lantern hybrid... Or perhaps its parentage is more...
interesting. I wonder what they crossed with.
They are about as hot as you'd want to grab off a plant and toss in your mouth. The plant hasn't been especially vigorous. But is doing better than its clone. They are still busting out peppers in January! but I live in florida, and its 85...
Also as to your issue its hard to say exactly what pest causes that in your area - here in florida my first suspect is the evil leaf footed bug. Looks like a good predator at a certain instar, except it travels in packs and eats the crap out of my peppers. Bits a hole in the top or near the top...
yeah exactly. Don't let someones dislike of a particular pepper color your view of something you've yet to try.
Are they hot? yep. But they have a good flavor as well.
I was thinking last night how much easier it would be for hybridizers if people traded pollen rather than seeds... I wonder how much interest there would be in that... Its simple to put a bit of pollen in a tiny ziplock, let it dry over night, seal it and mail it to someone along with a photo of...
I am choosing not to pick sides. Maybe to some of you that makes me a jerk.
I've talked to both men before, I like what I know of both men. I hate to think that Ed is stealing, and I hate that Primeaux (sp) feels taken advantage of and stolen from. Same deal for the carbonero.
I HOPE that...
