the way those chile plants are so uniform and organized and the quantity is very nice to answer your question "how many times should we wash the pots to remove salt and crystals?" as much as it takes? there is no rule about washing pots that i know of.

i love me some tostadas, they are so easy to make. Just put some beans in the pressure cooker while i'm at work. then fry in lard or bacon fat and mush. throw on a tostada! also not very many dishes to clean up!   The peppers are still going strong. I ran out of pots so gotta order some...
