I've bought seeds from plenty of different U.S. vendors since I first disappeared joined THP a few years back and they all use either regular envelopes or bubble envelopes and I've not once seen them have to go the extent that government page implies is required.. I think the government only...
Just.. please, please don't take cues from PuckerButt.. They charged me $11.50 USD per order. On one order I only had 2 packs of seeds and on the other only 3 packs of seeds. Ford's wasn't much better - $7.25 for 3 packs of seeds. The stamp on my envelope I got from Ford's shows they only paid...
"Hot Ones" does have a faint bit of "reviewing", but the focus point of their show is interviewing celebrities, etc. The hot sauces are the gimmick behind getting the interviewees to open up as each episode progresses by the heat level increaing with each wing they try. Some interviewees do...
A video was posted by First We Feast just in the past couple of days providing some more details - not many more - while advertising their hot sauce that's made with this "Pepper X". What I find curious in this clip is that there is some immature, green pods - but also pods are the turd color...
Welcome from Nova Scotia :)
Just a guess on my part, but it looks a bit like some type of C. Baccatum. Hot Lemon, maybe? Did you buy it as a seedling or grow from seed? :)
Do you mean the pieces of wood I have holding up my plants? I just make do with what I have available to me. I'd much rather something less intrusive (i.e. bamboo stakes), but the only place I found them cheap was a local dollar store and I bought out what they had. lol
Well, at the very least it looks like the kid is willing to try out some of the peppers:

(sorry for the folks that don't care for FB.. I checked their YouTube channel but the new owners haven't posted there yet)
So, according to a number of recent news articles a company called "Clickstop" has bought out the Pepper Joe's business and the owners have put their 19 year old son in charge of the operation:

I know I've been pretty quiet in the past few months.. but I've taken to doing short video updates of my greenhouse this season at least once a week.. Here is the latest:
In this case, the original post that juanitos copy/pasted above was by someone named "Stuart Roy" out of Calgary, Alberta on the Chiligrower group (hosted by the folks at Buckeye) on Facebook and I think on another group or two... So maybe they're just similarly minded. lol
Hey folks, sorry I haven't updated more! Been quite busy all-around :)
Here's the latest video update I posted over on YouTube that I posted a couple of days ago.. You'll definitely notice a difference from the last clip I posted earlier in the thread!
Well it's set available to public, but my guess is that you're one of those folks that don't have an account.. So, sadly no. lol .. I do intend to host a contest here on THP at some point to give back to the folks here since I've gotten a lot of help over the years. :)
I'm hosting my very first contest over on my Facebook Page.. I know, I know.. so many people despise social media - but feel free to humor me and check it out >>> https://www.facebook.com/SuperHotsCanada/photos/a.1409216169294390.1073741828.1395018287380845/1916569898559012/ :)
It sounds like you're already providing plenty of payment options for customers to choose from.
Stripe is certainly another option that can be provided, as THP mentioned, and I find it has similarities to both PayPal & Square. Just like either of those it can handle several options on the...
Looks like my first impression and analysis of that Tom Smith and those news articles was spot-on.
So, it sounds like this pepper is potentially a first-generation hybrid - so to anyone who's picked up seeds, it'll be interesting to see what variations spring up. :)
