Grrr!! Seen this dude on a pepper plant and knew he wasn't alone. So grabbed some Sevin and sprayed every plant. Then I went back out about an hour later and seven of those dudes dropped to the mulch. They met their fate with a swipe of a hoe!!   There's about 2 dozen death spirals in this...

I think some of the gnarly comes from staking the plants too close together, getting the cross pollination. Next year going to spread them out more and do some isolation.

 Never had waygu meat before, going to try it on the grill tomorrow. The marbling on that ribeye is awesome!  

Fridays harvest: chocolate bhutlah, couple death spirals, hand full of reaper chupetinho, and sour mexican gherkins.   Death spirals coming on strong.   Going to have hell of a harvest with the chocolate bhutlahs.   Apocalypse scorpions starting to turn.

Pink tiger x peach bhutlah. A silly rabbit has been munching on these two plants and even took a pod, once again sprinkled cayenne powder on all plants.   Chocolate bhutlah pods.   Got the gherkins canned up.   Since the mask mandate is getting out of control, thought might as well have fun...

Guess going to do some pickling with the sour mexicans. ;)  

This reaper kind of resembles a Kabuto helmet, use the imagination :drooling:   Finally getting some peach tiger x peach bhutlah pods   Going to be overwhelmed with chocolate bhutlah this year, the 3 plants are very heavy producers.    

Harvested a red solo cup full of the sour mexican gherkins this morning, cut them up and are soaking in a zesty dill brine.       Here's a better picture of the ass backwards reaper, there's also a pod behind it looking funky.

Indeed CaneDog! The Chocolate Bhutlah started to produce first, then the Apocalypse, and the Death Spiral. I figured if the Reaper didn't do anything at least the CB plants were, personally think they are more flavorful and hotter then a Reaper. Most of the varieties on the grow list this year...

This is the 2nd harvest of sour mexicans, they are really good. The rind has a good snap with a taste of a regular cucumber. Gonna to put these guys in a pickle brine for a few days and see how they turn out.  

Think the reaper pod on the right is growing ass backwards, if you look close on bottom right the stinger is growing inwards. There are alot of pods emerging   This is the 3rd cluster of chocolate bhutlah growing,

Death spiral almost ready for harvesting with a nice cluster of them in the works.....yummy!  

I like funky pods and I can not lie!! :dance:  Thanks PaulG, just can't wait to munch on them. Have a line up for next year grow already in the works....stayed tuned. ;) Also want to mention CaneDog thanks with the info for crossbreeding pepper plants, but with work, growing, etc.there isn't...

Guess I'll have a small harvest in the morning of the reaper chupentinho peppers.   I assume this chocolate bhutlah is daring me to suck the capsaicin out of it when it ripens. :P
