    Vincent's restarted 2014 glog***April 1st Pic Update***

Fiona is one of the best dogs we've ever had. She's definitely one of a kind.... Nah, I'm not a king lol. But I do come across the rare varieties. Fiona is about 80-85lbs, she can be very strong when she's ready. She once got her rabies/name tag on her collar caught up in the chain link...

seed-train Coheed's 2014 and Beyond Seed Train ***NOW ACCEPTING MEMBERS FOR ROUND 3***

Whoever put the "big ass okra" seeds in the box is cool. I love okra but never grown it. I planted some of the seeds and they've sprouted and are getting big fast.

Wow, I haven't even thought to check out the numbers. That's insane. Thanks for the complements. Keep your eye out for round 3 whenever I get it back. Everyone that has taken part of this had alot to do with it being such a good train.

    seeds Germination Troubles

Seed quality is of upmost importance. If the seeds were not dried enough, or in the right conditions nothing you do would help them. 85° is not cooking them I assure you, I use a heat mat with thermostat and check the temperature with Infrared/laser thermometer and I keep my seeds at 86° and...

    Roots, roots and roots again!

Same with Oasis Horticubes. I am also using rockwool for the first time this year (ran out of horticubes). Germination rates so far are good. To fight the helmet heads in rockwool I just tear a piece of the cube and push it down the hole. I can still use tweezers to lift it up and check on the...

    Vincent's restarted 2014 glog***April 1st Pic Update***

Took a couple of quick pictures today This is an odd one. Its supposedly seeds from the Chinese space grown peppers. I have found just a few articles about them and apparently in zero gravity the pods grow huge like feet long. Eh, who knows if it's true but we'll see. Another...

    Isolating peppers

I saw a little blossom drop but like Jeff, I figured it was due to not being pollinated. I would just shake the bag and I would have maybe 4 flowers per bag and 1-2 would pollinate

    Vincent's restarted 2014 glog***April 1st Pic Update***

Got a bit of an update. Since I had to restart most everything, I'm way behind my normal growth this time of year. My plants were already outside this time last year. Anyways everything is coming along nicely though. Anyways, here are some pictures of sprouts. My own cross from last year. Not...

    Isolating peppers

I use these http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=110876034647 There are probably cheaper ones, that's just the first link I clicked on. Different sizes, colors, etc. Obviously you can't cover the whole plant. What I do is just cover a couple different nodes/cluster of buds.

Jamison's "Red Dirt Grow" PLANTOUT 5/4/14

Yea, I was thinking meeting up once the pods start pumping out lol. It probably wouldn't even take quite 2 hours because that's going the speed limit haha. Actually what would be worth the drive for you is if we met in Birmingham and drove on down to Silver Surfer's plot. That is if he is even...

    Vincent's restarted 2014 glog***April 1st Pic Update***

Oh I'm looking forward to them as well. I know you sent me a handful of pods and I remember they were a Burgundy type color but that's about all lol Hell no, there's no way I could grow all of the different varieties in one season lol. Basically I just picked a few (10-15) that I thought...
