    Chocolate Primos

Here is Butch's site page https://butch-t-seeds.myshopify.com/products/chocolate-primo-reaper Chocolate primo reaper. You can tell why I got excited by the middle picture and my great disappointment of waiting a year just to get zero pods.

    Chocolate Primos

I would love to try them next years grow. Had no luck with CPR as of yet, two small pods so far for a years effort. But that seems to be par for many growers as well. I hate to throw away big, beautiful, wide pepper plants but no CPR pods out of 15 plants is just amazing to me. I have never...

    Chocolate Primos

I've been getting into chocolates for the last couple of years. I've tried just about all of them. In many cases, I buy a box and get to try them to see if they are worth growing or not so I don't waste a good part of a year with something I'm just going to throw away. I have Judys Bhutlah and...

    Chocolate Primos

Chocolates are worth growing because they make GREAT powder. Red powder that is hot tastes good in many foods, but when you use an equally hot chocolate that tastes good like a brain Strain, it gives the food a richer taste that still doesn't over power the taste of the food. Bhutlahs make great...

    Chocolate Primos

I bought in a box of chocolate 7 pot Primos this week. I'm pretty impressed. There are probably plenty of people who do not agree with me, but I think most of the chocolate peppers that have come out in the last few years taste really bitter, to even nasty tasting. Chocolate scorpions, nagas,and...

    heat The hottest small pepper?

OK, you guys got me interested too! My to go to little pepper is Pepper lover's Wild Chiltepin. I like to start new people out to see what they can handle and let them down one of these and see how they do. Those little things pack a punch for a couple of minutes. So, this orange wild Brazil...

    CPR problems

I have a box of chocolate Primos coming right now. I'll take seeds out of the best pods and see if these do better. The person who made them showed a plant with lots of pods in it. MW, you want to try some? By the time I dry them out good, it will be a decent time to go ahead and start some. (I...

MW, that is an awesome pepper! Hell, I'd be happy if I only made that one!

    CPR problems

I had pretty good germination. I just don't have pods. I've had plants that produced late, but not like this. I do pretty decently with regular Primos and reapers in the greenhouse on production, but they seem to take an extra month to start producing. I'm going to hang onto them for the rest of...

    CPR problems

In the ad forum the subject of CPRs not producing came up and I mentioned I would start a thread here. I bought some seeds from Butch's website and have grown them into huge, beautiful plants. They stand above my head and are beautiful dark green. They are now in their third flowering cycle for...

    chinense Chocolate Bhutlah SM

There are quite a few Bhutlah types from various breeders out there. I've been growing them for 2 years now. I have Judy's and the genetics that came from someone in the UK. Chad, who I think originally sent pods to SM that ended up producing the SM form has also sent material out and Jim Duffy...

wanted WTB Wartryx, CPR or Brazilian Moruga scorpion pods

Sounds like we need to make a thread in the talk area on this one. If I have the time today, I'll start one. Tom

wanted WTB Wartryx, CPR or Brazilian Moruga scorpion pods

I'll see how many Wartryx pods I have on the plants now. Do they need to be textbook pod shape for breeding, or are these just for eating and they vary in form? I only have a couple of plants that make textbook shaped pods, but another 8 that don't. Seeds came directly from M.A. Hea CAPCOM...

preservation Drying Peppers... with a break???

Another tip would be make sure the peppers are real crispy when you grind them. The powder will be finer and won't have a tendency to cake up. I use a coffee grinder too. It is a nice one but only cost $20. Krups I think. Another tip, you can be real careful, but it really helps to buy a $20...

preservation Drying Peppers... with a break???

+1 on all the advise. I cut mine in half and run them at 135 for 9 1\2 hours. Sounds like me and SD do almost the exact same thing. Tom

wanted WTB SFR box of the real MOA yellow scotch bonnet

I just want to say again that this is such a great group! annie57 hooked me up with the peppers I need. Sicman took care of my chocolate habanero need I had last week. Mike at least tried as well. I have had his stuff before, and it was high quality pods. I'd still like to get a hold of some of...

wanted WTB SFR box of the real MOA yellow scotch bonnet

Yes just a small box. Only really need a few to try out and compare with regular ones, but I'm not going to ask to buy a few peppers. I'm sending out lots of boxes so I can afford a whole small box to at least make it worth while for someone. Thanks for your help, Tom

wanted WTB SFR box of the real MOA yellow scotch bonnet

That's OK Mike. For anyone else I could also take a mixed box that included some of the yellow MOAs, if it comes down to it. Tom
