Meh. That's mighty weak sauce!
Fresh bat crap, mixed 50:50 with warm bobcat piss, combines the best of both! How do you think those Aridzona cactus get so tall? ;)
Get them into larger cups. The extra dirt will hold more water and take much longer to dry out.
For even better water retention, top-mulch with a sprinkling of plutonium shavings. And if all that doesn't work, just chop the leaves off. This greatly reduces water loss and completely...
My runts have been eking a living off the pitifully dim dual CFL lights in my 'grow' (damn little!) box. Today, for the first time is a few weeks, we are having some nice weather and the plants are getting some sun.
Got them under doubled 70/30 shade cloth that should hopefully prevent them...

Will post a pic tonight, when I have time.
With record warmth and damn little rain, Aridzona's winter has apparently been canceled. Sunny, with mid-high 70s, for the next week so my new babies can start...
DISASTER!!!!
Came home to find the incubator temperature had fallen to 78 degrees, over 15 degrees below the seeds' comfort zone of 95!
I quickly applied a blow-torch to warm them back to germinating temperature, but am terrified that the tender plants have frozen to death in the...
