Which of these varieties would you choose?....

Depends on what your looking for...and how much heat. For all around use I'd say BahaGoat, for something hotter I'd say JPGS. I think PeterStanley did a JPGS in a kratky a year or so ago and it was beastly. I can only imagine what a proper dwc would yield in a sunny conservatory Cheers! and...

    NewMexican Chiles in the Midwest

So I've found frozen Aji Amarillos and Larger Red rocoto so I'm thinking I may be able to continue to cook my peruvian faves without growing those...leaving me with a few open buckets.   One thing I can't seem to find locally is NewMex Chiles, and Dale's NewMexian Flog has me craving the...

contest Growdown Throwdown 2018 Yellow Brain Strain!

Not much going on with my plant. Started on Jan 1(never again), it grew really fast in an aerogarden and I ran out of light and room for it. I think it stalled and got pot bound. eventually got outside in a 5ga bucket and these are the first few pods.

    Next Season

you may find yourself able to tolerate alot of chinense by removing placenta and seeds I'll vouch for the Aji Limo. I use them alot in cooking. Generally stripping out the seeds. I've got a red and yellow variety now thanks to Dale and Terry.   Its got nothing to do with lemons, limes, aji...

    breeding Cross stabilisation - question

Those statements sound good to me. I think pod shape is greatly impacted by various environmental factors, the age/maturity of the plant, available resources, pests, etc. If the strain is pretty stable, the genetics should be good. But the pod shapes are up to how happy the plant is and what...

    Buncha Malarky 2018 edition

yup March 1st. i don't think i'll ever start earlier again. all this Jan 1st stuff is nonsense for me.   I munched half that cgn21500 pod. Smelled really nice and fruity, no skunk. unfortunately i didn't get any of the tropical fruity flavor i was hoping for. I know I'm not a very good taster...
