    Meatfreak's 2019 Grow

Yeah I know John, that's why I sent her some of my work. She's a incredible grower! And this pheno certainly ticked all the boxes for what I had in mind with this cross when I made it. Here's a picture of the red pheno from this cross.     Think you can guess one of the parents by now ...

    Meatfreak's 2019 Grow

Thanks man, pretty happy with that one. Been lucky as I've only gotten 1 white plant out of 40 plants!   Absolutely! MFPJ26 is a awesome cross that produced a lot of cool pheno's. The one that you saw from Sandra was actually an offpheno as they turned Orange instead of Peach but I will add that...

    Meatfreak's 2019 Grow

Hi all, been a while since I've posted something here. I did grow in 2018 but no glog that year as life was to busy as it was. However I made some good progress on my own crosses again and 2019 will be an continuation of my years of work. No clear idea yet which varieties I will grow this year...

    Stickman's 2017 Minimalist Glog

Sounds like you've been busy! You will have enough to get through the winter ;) We've had 1 night of frost last week and it killed off all my plants... guess the forecasts were wrong and it was much colder. Anyway, the pods were not frozen so just had to pick and clear out :)

    Meatfreak's 2017 Glog

Thanks, Rick. It was an very different growing season, wouldn't say good but everything was just much later ripe. Especially the peppers, which did came through in the end. Most important thing for me is to see as many possible variations on my crosses or finding the correct phenotype from...

    Strange looking "habanero"

I agree, that's an Annuum calyx. Bigger and wider then most Chinense.

    Strange looking "habanero"

I can't see the calyx good enough but it looks like the Jamaican Red Mushroom to me.

    Meatfreak's 2017 Glog

Thanks, Paul :)     It's only a few degrees warmer in the winter then it is outside, glass greenhouse is a bit warmer. I don't use a heater but put in buckets of water that heat up during the day and give warmth at night. This last winter was pretty cold compared to the year's before but that...

    Meatfreak's 2017 Glog

We do, Scott it has been very hot for this time of the year. Of course we shouldn't complain... but we also had no rain for 2 months now and it's becoming an serious issue for the farmers to now. Crops are wilting, dying. I can manage but I have to water daily now,  skip a day and something's...

    Meatfreak's 2017 Glog

Thanks Chuck, all is well, life was just a bit busy :)   Time for an update, as I said I have been very busy in the garden and still I'm not completely done planting out but getting there. We are having an serious drought over here, hardly any rain in 6 weeks. So I waste a lot of time on...

    Meatfreak's 2017 Glog

I've loosen up the soil till almost 1ft deep, then I put over the anti weed sheet and made like 4" holes. First time try it like this, I've read a lot about it on the internet and all stories had in common that you don't have to burrow them that deep if you use this method so I just followed...

Devv-2017-Having a good time in the dirt

Trellis is the word, I trellis my tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers. They would go higher if it weren't for my tunnel to be little over 7ft in height ;) By the end of July, early August I need to top of my plants cause the have reached the height already. Looking back at your pictures you already...

    Meatfreak's 2017 Glog

Smart thinking ;) I would suggest using an transport trolley for bringing in those containers :) I use them to when I bring some plants in for the winter.   Temps have dropped here and it's gotten colder then usual this time of year. Forecasts have even predicted a couple of nights with some...
