    bubblegum?

Your right that's an Mojo Frutegum but your not right about the bleeding of the calyx. Most of the times the calyx colors up first before the pods completely ripens.

Yeah I know what you mean, always to much produce of something anyway :D I don't mind sharing of course but I have to trust the people to not do anything with the seeds since 95% of my pods were crosses. The Scotch Brain is an great creation from Greg, it still needs some more work but it has...

Thanks, Chipotle & Lime mmm that does sound good :) Might dry some lime to try it out. The Tepin was a bit low but there are still tons of pods on the plants ripening, slowly but getting there. All the pods from those boxes were shipped to a good friend of mine that makes sauce. He had a...

    El jefe jalapeño

I've grow this one for several years and it's one of the hotter Jalapeno's out there. Quick fierce heat, of course the growing conditions have an influence but the variety itself packs quite some heat for an Jalapeno.

Yeah some crosses really give a wide range of colors and shapes, it's just important to grow as many possible plants during F-2 stage to find something you're looking for. From what I've seen over the years, most F-2's are not even close to F-1 they were. Glad I could help you out, I'm not all...

    Meatfreak's 2016 GloG

Thanks Scott, been struggling with it the past months and therefore not been so active anymore. I had quite some color variation in the MFPJ10, even an white phenotype showed up at the end of season but shapewise it's that interesting for now. Will give a couple a try in F-2 and see if the...

breeding Question for people who breed or have f1's

Yep, true. Great yields with F-1. Then F-2's are often poor producers, until you get into F-3 then it will be better again depending on the traits of the specific phenotype. Some stay poor producers so you don't continue to grow those out of course.

Thanks, the peach is not a creation of mine however. Supposed to have turned white but gotten Peach on all 4 plants, they ripen very slow and very high up to the stem of the pod before the pod itself starts to change.   Cheers, those 2 are putting out some really interesting phenotypes. Gonna be...

Thanks, Chuck. Happy with the 37 to, wait till you see another phenotype I got. Like this color even more :)   Cheers, Scott. We got ourselves an heatwave this week so the plants will get plenty of stress to start ripening of even more pods but its going well now :)   I can try, Rick but I'm not...

Thanks, Scott  :shh:   Yeah it's time to start thinking about what to do this winter. I'm planning on trying to use the poly again with veggies like I did last season. Worked out pretty good and we got to eat from the garden during winter. Also still got a lot of work I still wanna (need) to...

The other one has been making more pods but somehow they don't really get that big... no idea why but I just hope the pods have seeds so I can grow it out next year :D So what was that weather about this week?! Had to...

Thanks lol :D   No problem, Adam. This is just from my experience (past 3 years) so these are not facts or anything ;) Have been observing and sharing info with friends of mine and it's gives a lot of insight.   Not a stupid question at all, the PJ stands for ProJect. It's just something I...

Thanks Scott, I really enjoy growing my own crosses and crosses in general of course. You really never know what to expect and sometimes I expected to much hehe. They are producing okay but that was to be expected as I am growing multiple plants at the same spot. Your right there's always next...

Sorry for the late reply, Rick. Been slacking a lot over here :( I dug trenches about 3ft deep, yes deep but mine doesn't move when we have wind and we always have wind ;) Yeah the Sesame is a really cool plant, not sure if it will be prolific enough but I like how it grows :)   Summer... well...
