Ahh, definitely more of a novelty than a prized sauce pepper I'm sure. Thought it would be pretty neat to grow a somewhat indigenous plant that's fairly rare. What are the temps looking like out your way these days?

Fire- hole: the sensation of heat or burning near the sensative orifices. I.e. don't touch me you've been cooking and I don't want to get fire hole! Can also be used in the context of a chile hangover: oh man that sauce gives me some serious fire-hole after the morning constitutional!

I had the opposite problem with my plants this year, the aphids seemed to only be a problem at the beginning of the summer. Hit the plants a few times with dish soap and they never came back. Knock on wood. I'll bet those two snapped plants will put out a little growth before the frosts come on...

Ack that's no fun. Get some rest, drink some fluids and get better so you can keep this awesome glog goin!

Equally satisfied with Sicman's magic out Tejas way. Sfrb shipped promptly and arrived in under a week absolutely stuffed full of fresh peppers. I not sure how they all fit in there as I couldn't close the box back up after inspecting them all. Great mix and very tasty, thanks Sicman!

Looks like most of those babies are still kicking quite nicely. We could sure use some more rain up this way, but we did get a good bit this past Thursday. Tepins are looking good, keep on keepin on!
