Not sure on this one. This is my first year growing them. I can tell you that it has tripled in size in about 2 weeks with flowers to boot. I have high hopes for this one. It's between the Bhut and the Choco Hab as to which one is bigger. Both are beast, but no pods yet.
I hope that shade I made with the screen door mesh works. It should be filtered light and still let the plants breathe, and I will leave them alone. I am trying to not water them so much. Rain isn't helping me out at all!
Very true! I am guilty of doing that, I will research products from here on out. I guess I just took bits and pieces from others on these forums and compiled my own methods. Kinda effed things up I guess. Glad it is only 2 or 3 of all my plants instead all of them. I will try epsom salts...

Unlike the other Jalapeno's that I have it grew tall with all the leaves at top, not bushy like you would think. It did grow rather fast. Last years Orange habs took awhile longer as I recall. Screwed the pooch on this one. Oh well.
I will try the epsom salt foliar spray today. I read on a website that the mixture ratio is "For potted plants, simply dissolve 2 tablespoons per gallon of water, and substitute this solution for normal watering at least once a month". I this right?
Well, the bed is new this year. I am using...
