Need HELP with something eating my plants

Well, here is the link to my grow progress ("GLOG maybe"?). They seem to be rebounding fairly well. Crossing my fingers on this one. http://s1109.photobucket.com/albums/h422/bama_boy1975/Peppers/2012%20Pepper%20Garden/

Need HELP with something eating my plants

Ok, mental note, too much Sevin dust. I have major leaf curling and bubbling of the leaves. You guys are right with killing the beneficial bugs! All the worms are dying, but I did find ALOT of centipede looking things that are toast! However not one damn slug. I guess I will scrape some of that...

Need HELP with something eating my plants

Luckily my gardens are fully enclosed so no rabbits. The plants look a lot better since the dusting of Sevin Dust. I will get pics when I get home.

when should i expect to start seeing pods on my tabasco

Taste like the sauce, no. They are bitter and hot!! They taste good just nothing like the sauce. I absolutely love making the Rotel, Velveeta Cheese, and Spicy sausage mixture with a handful of Tabasco's minced up. Then grab some scooping or dipping chips, and yummmmm!!!!!!

media Jiffy Pellets vs Potting Soil

I have used Jiffy peat pods for 3 years now with a WIDE variety of peppers with a 95% success rate! I would like to also mention that I like using starter soil as well with the same success rate if not better. So, it doesn't really matter, or at least for me that is.

when should i expect to start seeing pods on my tabasco

I grew them last year and growing them this year. Great choice in pepper. They are considerably hotter than the sauce. I wasn't ready for it when I ate it like a jellybean!!! Once they do pop some peppers, stand by for ALOT!!!!

    My Sick Peppers :(

From what you said, it sounds like your drainage is good enough. Moist should be ok, how often do you water? Should be once every couple to 3 days or so. Are you using any kind of fert (plant food)?

Need HELP with something eating my plants

Yeah, that is what I kinda figured as well. I will knock off the dust when I get home from work. I just wanted a full day of the powder to do the job. I do feel as if i over did it a little. BUT, what's done is done. Just got tired of my plants getting chewed up.

    My Sick Peppers :(

Hmmm....I see you have them in a raised box, how is the water drainage? Just like you said, and I can attest to, we have had ALOT of rain recently. If your box doesn't have proper drainage then you can run into some problems with wilting and root rot. Anybody else have any ideas?
