Thanks PG! I'm glad the Zapotec is growing well for you...I wouldn't mind growing a whole garden full of them, 120 or so plants...
Bummer about Photobucket. I've been using Dropbox for 5 or 6 years now, and could not be happier with it...I believe one can get a 5 GB account for free...
Thanks!
Thanks Matt!!! I'll do that! Until I get that done, here's a couple of links to the articles that got me started down the RCW path:

My Zapotec plants, today, 20 July 2017. I built this bed in 2014, from the native clayey, irony, gravelly sand, and chipped oak branches. No fertilizer, manure, worm tea, etc. has ever been added, nor has this bed ever been tilled:
My Zapotec plants are beginning to hit their stride now. I picked these nice chiles this morning. So apparently full sun is the way to go with this variety...Who knew?
I planted a month or so late this season, so I'm a bit behind y'all, but my Dreadie plants are podding up nicely now...I'm so ready to bite into one of these juicy chunks of Caribbean happiness!!!
PERFECT DREADIES NEIL!!!
Sorry about that, Matt...Looks like it's time for me to start isolating my seed plants. On the other hand, you might have a real nice new cross there...Looks to be Papa Dreadie x Forbing Naga. I'm glad to hear they taste good...How's the heat level?
Thanks so much Simmy!!! That was an experience like none other, to be honest. I'm not sure I'm even the same guy I was before I did that...
Thanks Scott! The video captured a small fraction of the agony that succeeded it...That's all I'm saying about that, but it will be a very long time...
Chris Dennis (THP member Meathead1313) seems to have produced a NagaBrain x 7 Pot Primo hybrid. The pods are freaking massive and screaming hot. I was lucky enough to do the first video review of this one, and it may very well be my last ever. Chris, thanks so much for the honor of doing...
Thanks Chuck! When I make Green Chile Pork Stew, I generally use one quart of roasted, peeled, and chopped green chile. It seems to take around 2 gallons of whole pods to produce one quart of finished product...I can never get enough stew, so, yeah, that...I probably need more plants...

Thanks Chuck! You are exactly right about that...Some of the best times of my whole life, to be honest...But now the grandkids are gone on vacation and the New Mexico plants are really pumping out the pods. I believe my weekend is already booked!
Weeellllll, since you asked about the...
I love this stuff Peter! I think it happens more often than not: We chile heads get introduced to a localized sub-variety of a much more broadly-defined pepper, it spreads quickly throughout the community, and we accept that very specific form as the canonical phenotype for the variety. If you...
Thanks so much for that great pod test Peter!!! I have a couple thoughts on the particular variety...
When Neil Smith introduced the Bonda Ma Jacques to the chile head world, what we got was the yellow St. Lucia landrace that we all know and love so very much. It's a wonderful pepper, and...
Thanks Rick! Same to you, bud! As a matter of fact, I did get to grill some nice Green Chile!
My awesome Green Chile pickers: Jordan, Nova (my grand daughter), and Kendyl.
Jordan took this great shot with Kendyl's Polaroid:
Picking some Zapotec Jalapeño for Kendyl's Dad:
Peeling...
Update on my Zapotec grow, this morning, June 29. I've grown this chile every season since 2012, but this year is the first time in all-day full sun, and just, wow...
Thanks Rob! Around that, maybe a bit taller for the tallest of them...
I hadn't really thought about it, to be honest. I think I'll measure them when I get home from work...
