    chinense Chocolate Bhutlah SHU

For the case of Mary Jane, Terpenes might increase both the potency of cannabinoids and the relative effects of different ones. Capsicums have plenty of Terpenes, too, so it`s not much of a jump to think they might alter the capsaicin effects in some way.  ...

    chinense Chocolate Bhutlah SHU

If you are talking about the Chocolate Bhutlah that Standbyandfire on here has, it`s a distinct possibility. There are numerous "Bhutlahs" around that are Bhut x Douglah crosses of some sort, some named Bhutlah to cash in on the notoriety of the one I mentioned above.   I`d also point out that...

    chinense Chocolate Bhutlah SHU

I haven`t had any Chocolate Bhutlah pods from Steven, so far. I`ve tried the Red Bhutlah versions Chad has that are the pre-runners to the Chocolate. Those are very hot and painful. Steven has been very busy and he`ll let me have one when he`s ready.  I agree entirely and have been looking at...

    chinense Yellow Carolina Reaper

It`s known as Orange Brazil Wild, not to be confused with Wild Brazil. It`s an unknown species and has characteristics of both annuum and frutescens. Plants get to be gigantic - mine were 9 feet tall in 5 gallon pots by June. Pods are far more frutescens-like, IMO.

    chinense Yellow Carolina Reaper

Agreed about recessive alleles, but the majority of these off-colours have cropped up in the last 10 years, once people started growing out lots of varieties. The question to ask is how many colours have cropped up in India, where they grow thousands of acres of red Bhuts and have done so...

    chinense Yellow Carolina Reaper

Hard to know how many of these colour forms originate. Some are specific crosses, some unintentional (the vast majority IMO) and extremely rarely, natural mutants. I`m currently researching the literature on colours in Capsicums and it is extremely complicated. If you think about all the...

    not Cumari do para?

They didn`t, no, and I realise the red version is the one shown on the CGN website. I`d consider the red to be the original, but clearly there is this yellow/orange one, too. I have no explanation and it could be something as simple as mixed up seeds a few years ago or a natural...

    chinense Yellow Carolina Reaper

Thanks, appreciate it.   I have reviews up of wilds and semi-wilds, ornamentals, low heat varieties, med hot and all the way up to idiotic. Not sure how many in total, maybe 200? I`ve probably eaten 3 times that number, but not filmed them so far.  Yellow Reapers are not available...

Cheers, I hope yours is good too, and that 2016 is a truly great year for you and yours!

    chinense Yellow Carolina Reaper

I expect 2016 to be the year of the Bubblegum hybrid. There are literally dozens and dozens out there. I`ve seen White, Peach, Yellow, Orange, Red, Caramel and Chocolate, plus the Neyde hybrid I posted, which gives purple spots on red. All we need now is a blue one with pink spots and we`ll have...

    chinense Yellow Carolina Reaper

So good of you to say, thanks! Great memory, Hahahahahahah. Chris Phillips renamed it the Bicouglah and it made me laugh, so kept it, LOL. For everyone, it`s Bhut Indian Carbon x Douglah.   I grew out F2 this year and couldn`t really tell it from the F1. Flavours and heat seemed very similar...

    Christopher Phillips Leukemia Fund

Chris saw the Bone Marrow Transplant people this week and they impressed on him the need to find a donor and go forward with a Stem Cell Transplant (SCT). This is a very big step, a very difficult procedure to endure and has a 50-50 chance of working. Hopefully, a donor can be found soon. For...

    chinense Yellow Carolina Reaper

Thanks, very good of you to say!    Although these look great, I`d prefer to eat Yellow 7-pots and I doubt I`ll grow these again. As you allude to, there are so many great varieties to grow it`s tough to grow many more than once and I grow 175-200 varieties every year.   One yellow I highly...

    craft beer

With beers like this it`s all a bit polarising. You like them or you don`t, generally. I can understand not liking something this boozy or this big, but I love it.    Looks lovely and I really like the idea of a freeze-concentrated Imperial.

    chinense Yellow Carolina Reaper

Ok, I cannot vouch for what these are, but I enjoyed growing them and they look great. I got the seeds labelled as Yellow Reaper from someone in Italy last Christmas. Plants were very robust, but not very productive, which is what I see with Reapers whenever I grow them. Chris Phillips grew out...

This is Caught in a Rip Current triple IPA. It`s my favourite triple IPA of all. Most tend towards too much malt for my tastes, which I realise is kinda sorta needed, but this one has a far better malt/hop balance for my palate. This specific version at the brewery was 15.2%

My goto IPA right now is IronFire 51/50, followed by IronFire The Devil within DIPA.   But that`s just today, tomorrow it could be something else, LOL Rip Current brewing has a lovely IPA called Lupulin Lust and at the brewery a few weeks ago they had a version brewed with Brettanomyces. Holy...
