Yeah, I have about 6-8 plants in root pouches now and they were small to begin with from a bad start. They are freaking taking off now and the pouches are only about 7 gallons!

That plant you had inside really produced well, it had hundreds of flowers on it! very nice.

You could top that serrano if you want and then growth will explode from the other nodes lower down, You can see a reference on my GLOG where i topped a few and growth exploded from lower regions. But maybe someone else can chime in!

hahah what results did you get. Google charapita pepper next time :) they are small little balls of fire. good flavor and heat doesn't last too long but hits hard up front.

5/24/14   My peppers are all outside in some way or another. I turned off the lights for this year and now letting mother nature decide the fate of my lil guys. I had a full day of sun today on them and they seem to have enjoyed it. I also got some ladybugs just to prevent anything from trying...

Thanks miguelovic! They were actually quite easy to make and PL glue holds like cement at least for a few years I hope. Definitely allows for good drainage. Yeah I had to improvise since I knew impending weather was upon us. Works well so far and I wish I had put them on before some had sun...
