probably just suntan/sunburn. How close are the lights and what type?   usually when I mist my plants and have them under the flourescents they tan/purple up.

they would only cross if you planted them the prior year, and kept seed and got cross pollinated then.   just putting them next to each other wont change the pepper characteristics, unless you keep the "crossed" seed and re-grow it.

pinch and let the plant get more growth. The last thing you want is a wimpy stalk to break and have your fruit fall all over the ground.   Unless you want to cage it? or garden tie it to a bamboo stick

if mine grow true, ill give free seeds away. I got 2 different sources for seeds from the same guy.   1 is going in hydro tonight to be my primary plant.

I havn't grown with aeroponics so I'm at a loss with it. I think the roots look very odd.. Im used to huge roots even on smaller plants...   I actually had to root prune my roots on my DWC buckets.... because they were so huge...

are the other plants healthy in it? hows the roots on those look?

To wet? there growing in water....   I run deep water culture, and let the airstones run 24/7, I run DWC - deep water culture.   My deep water culture roots were like legs and about 1/2 to 1/3 the size of the plant... and crystal  white... and clean.....you could comb them.   I'm running on GH...

what nutes are you running and at what formula?   do you have a ph tester and a TDS tester to see the PPM of the water/nute formula.   those roots look very poor... the roots should be fine hairs and white.... how long has that been in the setup?

I have in some cases used luke warm water, and did a complete full rinse on the roots so no dirt is present, and then put them into there respective containers.   yes it increases the chance of transplant shock, but I usually don't have issues. Try it with 1 and give it 1-2 days and see how well...

just grow 1 plant and clone it by taking clippings......   or you can grow a bunch. Replant the 2nd generation and keep the ones most like the traits you like, then keep replanting each year until you have "de-hybridized" them but keeping the plants with the traits you like...    The easy way is...

yeah I don't see any signs of anything eating it.   The flower around the pepper will fall off. on some peppers it constricts around the pepper and shapes tails on them or holds around the pepper until its picked off.   I think your flower is just pollinated and the flower is dying/falling off...

I always plant in promix... and keep the top misted wtih humidity dome on it. I had a bit less germination this year because of the very cold temps. After I put a heat mat under it, I got about 50% more germination on my superhots.   What were you planting for a variety? im sure some members...

Have you tried in a tupperwear dish with a wet paper towel in it? and just put it somewhere warm...  top of fridge?   Usually people can get away from putting it on there cable box or cable modem they both get pretty hot...   Just don't get any water on it......  <------ because you know someone...

I would be up to trading rare plant types with people when I start.   I might even start a tissue culture group if I get into it big, im definitely going to share anything I learn with others free.

yes its a cutting of a plant but its "cultured" in media and then broken into parts to produce plants from it..   so like 3-4 cuttings but then turn that into possibly hundreds of plants.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9YvuNhEOo4
