The velocity of the nutrient won't be high enough to break healthy roots with the small pumps required for hydro.   If it does in a 1" pipe, your pump is waaaayyyyy too big.

Ice cubes in the nutrient reservoir do quite well for keeping temps down; that and extreme shading of everything that handles nutrient.

ID will require fruit and flower fotos.   It's a fool's errand to guess from these fotos.

Chiles are day neutral, ie, light cycle does not control flowering/fruiting
