Anyone tried this yet? Its actually not bad. Like an amber lager. Scored some awesome bourbon in a trade this week.

Some of them just do it because its popular and looks cool. But yeah wax helps. I will say though that sours will definitely change. Wether it will be good or bad is not known. They will usually get more sour if O2 does make it through the cap too.

Dont do it thinking it will get better. If a beer is hot and boozy it may calm down a little bit. But anything that has adjuncts in it (vanilla, cinnamon, coffee, etc) are only going to get worse. If you want to save a KBS or BCS from each year and compare them sure its fun. But when most...

Interesting. I had an apple brandy Barrel Aged beer and really liked that. Curious to see what people say about it.

Had some nice brews this weekend. Narrow Gauge released cans of DDH Galaxay, Mosaic, and Citra. Also went by Side Project yesterday.

Black Friday at Binnys in Chicago was freaking crazy. Not sure Ill ever do that again but I did get a lot of good beer.

One of those is DDH. The regular one I just opened doesnt taste quite right. They had a problem with some of the cans sealing right. Hopefully that one tasted good. Somebody was posting about it over the weekend.
