Mine grow down. But I don't think mine are completely true either as they ripen to red, not orange. Awesome flavor and decent heat level though. Very productive plants
Sorry man it's been a hectic week. I'll go through everything on my days off this weekend and get you some shipped out. I haven't forgotten about you yet lol
Haha yeah man I saw your plants on IG, Lookin gooooood! Sure wish Texas would hurry up.
Well good to know, guess I'll be trying to decide between all the different choices on Amazon this weekend. Thanks for the tips buddy!
Awesome grow list strat! I would definitely like to get my hands on some of those moruga x bbg7 seeds at some point, they look gnarly. Looking forward to seeing your fall hauls!
I do remember seeing these pics, but I don't remember ever seeing the process. Good stuff. And I believe if it can handle your Pacific winds, it'll be able to handle my gulf winds. Thanks Brian
Well I just mean for purposes of pollinator access, plants scraping the undersides of it etc.. With the bed being 16" tall, then the plants being around 4' on top of that, I'm thinking another 1-2' above the tallest point would be ok right? If I go the bowed pvc route, I may have to start a foot...
So I'm looking into getting 30 or 40% cloth for my 5'x10'x16" raised bed. I've found plenty of retailers, but now I'm trying plan the layout. Thinking of going the pvc hoop style, but I'm stuck on height. How far away from the tops of my plants, which are averaging about 4' tall, would be ideal...
That's a good problem to have man! I had a great spring harvest, but now I'm in the dead of a South Texas summer stall, hoping to have double the production come September/october
Man those do have awesome foliage. What's weather been like? I agree that it could be a bit rich in nitrogen, or maybe that particular spot gets a little less Sun than the others? I've found that a little stress helps to produce flowers and fruits. How much direct Sun would you say these get?
Awesome. I'm gonna have to try it out this weekend. Got so many processing tasks to experiment with, can't wait! What kind of chocolates did you use? I've got some choc bhut, choc fatalii and choc habanero, might do a mix. First, to find that salt
Almost. It does happen in cross pollination, but not instantly. If plant A flower is pollinated by plant B flower, then plant A flower produces a fruit, ideally that fruit will bear seeds with genes from both plants. Those seeds will, ideally, produce plants and fruit that have characteristics...
Excellent news as I have a full freezer. You said you had everything in a jar, then mixed and smoked. Did you discard the peppers or actually blend them up with the salt?
