heat What is the world's hottest?

http://ted-the-fire-breathing-idiot.tumblr.com/HOTTEST   Ted Barrus, he reviews pods and has eaten a lot of peppers over the years including the hp56 strain that was suppose to be Ed Currie's trump card in case someone makes a pepper hotter than his reaper

    chinense Chocolate Bhutlah SM

I'm not entirely sure but unless they patent them, that promise doesn't hold up right?   And even more so the loophole of giving it to a friend, does that mean that friend can then sell it?   Just seems kinda werid to hold that much legal ownership over the seeds even after its been passed on

heat What is the world's hottest?

The record is of course, the carolina reaper. But because of of the rules for guinness, that's not completely accurate. So there have been peppers that are supposedly hotter like the chocolate bhutlah sm   According to the fire breathing idiot, its Oregon venom typle 1. Personally I had a...

2 Dozen School Children Sickened Eating Carolina Reapers.

Lol if there was reapers when I was a kid, I would be stupid enough to bring them to school. Poor kid, zero tolerance school rules are gonna ruin him

$25k per kilo, most expensive pepper in the world

I believe they are talking about the total amount of cap rather than the concentration. But even so the concentration can change because it is coooking. So they can cook off the water thereby decreasing the overall mass and increase the concentration. Otherwise you wouldn't have things like...

$25k per kilo, most expensive pepper in the world

Oh dear I think there's a misunderstanding. It's arguing 2 different things. The total amount of cap in the ramen is different than the orginal concentration of the individual pepper. When he said it was 2 million Scoville, it ment the total amount in the dish and not the individual pepper.

    hydroponic Hydroponics Worth it?

I don't think it will cost that much since the bulk of the cost will be in fertilizers and light. So if u use masterblend/dry ferts and led lights/have good sunshine, u already save so much on the bulk of the cost. Then use kratky because it is the cheapest form of hydroponics since no pumps...
