Well update time!
I have been changing nutes biweekly as I said and still using identical mixtures of botanicare pure blend pro grow and today the plants have reached a size where I am starting the transition from grow to bloom nutes. I mixed nutes today with 15ml grow and 15ml bloom per gallon...
I plan to use a wick system when these develop becauSe the hard part would be as they develop, a small root structure would have trouble absorbing enough nutes and water to support the plant ontop. A wick system will help these plants accomplish that. I plan to wick out of my aquaponic grow beds.
Here is a bird pepper I transplanted into a ball. I have a pepperlovers most prolific germinating in another ball. The drill bit really marred the ball for the bird pepper but I am doing this for fun. Was too late for the competition.
Hey no problem man. The seeds are here for whenever the sasbe's arrive. Be it tomorrow or next month. Was just posting a reminder to those that haven't posted yet. I am not rushing anyone so sorry if it seemed that way.
Everything I got, I sent out. So I would wait 2 days and if you don't get anything on Tuesday, then I would assume you didn't send it my way as yet. Intact if you haven't gotten it yet then I would assume you didn't send it as I am pretty sure that the two I got since I got back from St. Lucia...
Okay well since I got back, I have only had 1 more sasbe... That means that I have 3 sets of seeds waiting to send out. Please have your sasbe's in the mail soon everyone!
I just brought down some seeds this time with me. Got some revered recycled tire pots and they will be planted by the time I get back. It was a nice variety of 8 peppers of varying colours and heat and they will grow all year without an issue.
I did not bring the plant back to the Caribbean with me! They have been inside my basement under artificial light. I am very much like you, wondering where the hell the sun is. We had SNOW HERE!! SNOW IN MAY!! Snow on May 1st-2nd... WTF is wrong with Nebraska??? My plants are all suffering and I...
Scratch I mean yours popped rather early. I didn't mean that you started germinating before anyone else. You had your POL picture. I just remember almost giving up because I thought mine would never pop haha.
Jeff... My plant is still in the competition. If I remember correctly, scratch germinated weeks before us, the lucky duck!! We will see in the end. There is still a long way to go!!!
I drained the sump and added about 35 gallons of fresh water into it. Didn't test it after that but the perch are in and we will see if they are alive tomorrow. I will slightly salt the system to help with nitrate tolerance.
On August 16th after learning about the Trinidad moruga scorpion pepper and having being in Trinidad a week before and not having any luck locating seeds, I went on the Internet hunt for moruga seeds. Google brought me first to refining fire chiles and I placed an order there. I got an email...
I never got any!!! :-( oh well maybe next time I shop with you.
I do have to go in the vendor forum and post a shout out to you though. I love ordering seeds that come in a pack of 25+ which then show up as a pack or like 60 seeds and plus free fatalii yellow seeds in a similar sized pack also...
Sweet. I just got back today from St. Lucia and got caught up in this late winter storm. Where the hell is doing dammit!!! Anyway my cycling is coming along. Almost there. Haven't lost any of the feeder gold fish and nitrates are on the way down so my yellow perch will go in tonight. My friend...
