My local jewel osco had some today. wierd that they did though.

I have some plants from KD seeds that are going to go into dirt this weekend. Will be a long wait to taste the delicious fruit but worth it. Gotta love the crappy spring we have had here in illinois. :(

Looking good, I Just built two raised beds (sunburnt to hell) now getting ready to harden off this week. Wish plantts were little bigger but tried new starting cells this year that were a bust.

BTW, I had started my seeds in those very same 10 cell tray things,(the paper crap) and had horrible luck as well, They were stalled after like first true leaves so I was very upset haha. Started like 5 more in solo cups and they tripled the size in weeks over the other ones.

I got some promix from the local store. 4 cu for 9.95. is that a good deal?

i hear ya man. If i have a couple hours in the next few weeks maybe i could manage to drive to bufu lol

Wow, thats a ton of healthy looking big plants. Mine are still pretty small like 4-5 inches because i didnt transplant them from small cells soon enough. I have much better luck starting in solo cups ive noticed. Makes me wanna drive to grab a few haha

I got a late start as well my friend from these terrible spring temps, really dampened my growth. i only started seeds like 6 weeks ago so im cutting it close but things are looking good now. should be able to start hardening some for my plant time of mid may.

Squeezing in 16 plants will be interesting. hopefully still get some poddage

Yeah then I could fit around 16 plants in each bed with decent space between. Planting only 8 seems like a waste.

I just transplanted around 40 plants into solo cups/4" planters and used epsoma organic potting soil and it worked out fine, have no burn issues or problems. plants are starting to take off! Sadly, Ive learned that starting in the solo cups next year will be better. I started some seeds 2 weeks...
