Seeds are in nature resistent to cold temperatures, even when frozen. So dont worry about them being in the fridge for a couple of days
as u are mimicking the natural process.
The only problem when they absoluteley dont sprout could be that the peppers werent fully ripe yet.
I'd give it a try...

Well this is a good post as I have the same kind of question
My bhut jolokia has the same feature whilst being in the unripe state it should be a Bhut Jolokia yellow, but the pods arent looking like the
bhut jolokia yellow pods i allready found on the net.
I'm from Aalst (East-Flanders) and your offer is very much appreciated bro!!
