I read through the SASBE sticky and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions or KingLeer had a specific setup he would like sent. Would you like us to include some small ziplocs? If so, anyone know where I could grab some before I send out my SASBE?   Thanks in advance, 

I purchased a Bonnie Habanero this year and it's very strange looking. Pretty sure I purchased it from Lowes early in the growing season. I'll try to find a picture of it and post it here.    Here is a picture of the first pod   http://imgur.com/E363Am9

  I'm in the same boat. All of my plants are doing well and producing lots of pods except for my bhuts and one terrible looking Devil's Tongue. One is just now starting to bud and the other is just now developing the first round of pods. Good luck

My only Devil's Tongue isn't doing very well. The large leaved are yellowing and appear burnt in spots. New leaves feel leathery and are horribly curled. I started poking around and saw some small red bugs running around in the dirt. I tried to pick one up on a shed leaf but they were pretty...

I live just outside of Des Moines.

Id like to think I have a pretty good palate. That being said it had a very distinct flavor that I have never encountered before. Sweet upfront eith a sharp burn that lasted for over 15 minutes.

Finally able to eat that pepper. I ate a decent sized chunk of it and it was hot but not mind numbing hot like I had wanted. I'm going to  let the plant produce more pods and I'll let everyone know what they look like in the weeks to come.

I've already eaten one, didn't get pictures of it because it was smaller than all the others, and it was suprisingly hot. That one was the size of a grape and was green. Plenty of heat towards the stem. 

I'll post some pictures of the leaves on the plant. They look totally different from those on my Hab plants. I'm hoping this turns out to be a Reaper as this is the only one I have. 

Just wanted to let everyone know that the pod is fully ripened. Picked it this morning and a buddy and I will be tasting it after lunch today. I'll report back with the heat level then. Thanks for all the replies thus far. 

I was in a rush to repot a 12-14" Devil's tongue and I forgot to mix in my fertilizer. Long story short, I mixed up some Promix, perlite, and a little worm casings but forgot to add my Jobes organic fertilizer granules to the mix. The plant has been in it's new 3 gallon pot for over a week now...
