    Your least/most favourite?

Favourite so far I say would be red Bhut's. Only tried them pickled though, but I love the richness and the heat. I do very much enjoy the flavours of yellow peppers, and have quite a few of them going this coming season. :) Least favourite, sadly, green peppers, be it jalapenos or serranos. I...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

Well so far, exciting, I have found the superhots which have successfully germinated, have grown the tallest quickly, I even have 2 butchT scorps side by side, so I will be attempting Neil's clumping theory on this one. Still a few not germinated, but I remain hopeful :)

18 days for a chocolate bhut? I must be very lucky, got it without soaking less than 14 days - forget when but must have only been 9 days. My butchT scorp was sprouted within a week... I must be very lucky. Today I noticed my Antillias Caribbean and Golden Habanero seeds have sprouted. Lovin'...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

Not sure if it's simply wishful thinking, but I have a lot of hopes for a scorching summer, as winter is so cold here this year!! Especially now that we're not really in drought anymore. Yeah I am inclined to disagree, but that's my nature, all you guys did was help out. It really is...

    So happy....

I have just found out I have successfully germinated my first Capsicum Chinense plant, along with another I had a fair bit of confidence in. I have struggled so much with this process, and all of the money, time, patience and effort has paid off with Candice's (Wildfire) Germination Kit. I will...

GREAT video mate, took it like a pro. Not quite at Neil's league though.... We will all catch up one day in a galaxy far far away. I can't wait to eat a Douglah.... It is one of the seed sets I have highest hopes for this season, looking forward to it more than the scorpions or any others...

Why Thai joints are for chiliheads...

No worries mate! Happy to help out! The newer revised editions which are said to not be as good are available if you are lucky. The one I have however is the first edition. Anybody who tried that recipe, would be really keen to hear their thoughts. Saw some of those baby eggplants today, I was...

So i now officially hate my room-mate

Dice up some superhots (yeah I mean it) and steep in a vinegar solution for a couple of days. Take out the chunks, and put the rest into a spray bottle. Then spray underwear, lightly is all that's needed. And then wipe the solution over the mouthpiece of popular bottles and/or glasses and the...

Why Thai joints are for chiliheads...

Not Thai but I had Chinese on the weekend. My misses ordered Dry Fried Chilli Beef. Usually quite a mild delicious little dish. It was scorching, for the others. Great taste, medium heat, and a whole dinner plate of it! The others couldn't handle it. Never gotten endorphins from Annums before...

    Ever Use Dried Lemongrass Bits?

Wouldn't mind putting the pieces in tempura and deep-frying them, so you get a really crisp crunch with that wonderful flavour. Have I heard or seen it done? No, but there's a first for everything!
