I was thinking that but I ended up with three identical plants and theres no variance in pod shape so unless its all F1 seed from the same cross or something, I can't imagine all the plants looking identical... Hoping for that "someone" out there thats grown just abot everything to have a look...

Got a Baccatum needing ID, another unknown..   Plants grew quick, tall, gangly and light green in colour. Baccatum flowers, and quick forming single and double pods.   Thought the pods were going to splay out and become Bishops Crowns, but the continued to grow into larger lobes, Bell shaped...

Whenever my plants turn shit I just repot them with fresh medium and presto , no fart assing around trying to work out what nutes are under or over

Are you talking about Ghorpions or Jays Ghost Scorpions ?? THere are a few distinct pheno's going around ??

  Checked again this morning.. Nothing.. I'm thinking of trying to pollinate the flowers with a few varieties, see if any take.. Backcross it to one of the parents like you said as well.. Might be the pollen s sterile but the flower ovum isn't.

How much heat are they exposed too, one of those tips look crispy and dry

  ​Thanks for the reply Nigel... I thought it might of been a possible Mother x Father issue but then I thought that that might result in less germinating seeds. But as the plants were so strong I don't see that to be an issue.. I will continue to try and get them to take, if they do...

Nah, they were on the small side and had those little brown edges... I have several other pods that grew a few days after the first one that should be ready soon ..

I had a 3 foot tall plant bend and crack/split at the base from falling off a bench during high winds... Duct taped it up tight with a splint, took the tape off a few months later and the stem was completely healed and about twice as thick .. Made the plant stronger in the long run. 

One of my crosses I most looked forward too this season seems to have hit an issue.. I grew two lovely F1 plants, They grew fast and tall like a Baccatum, and had thick stems and branches and the characteristic chinense folliage. All seemed to be going well and the plants were outgrowing my...

I found mine popped reasonably early compared to other varieties, they got tall quick too... But podding up and flowering was much slower

Just finished eating it.. Was exactly as Nigel described.. Hit of Chinense smell when cut open, you get that instant 'Hot pod' reaction that chinense smell gives you, but No.. No heat at all, not a single scoville .. Thick walled, medium firmness. Taste on this pod was probably a little lacking...

   I'm about to cut it open in a moment so I'll take some pic's .. It's only a small one so it's a little sad lol...

  Those sizes are usualy only a 10th of the real heat.. I used to pick and eat 7 Pot Barrackpores off my plant and eat them at that size while I walked around the garden, only felt like 100k at most... but then the real sized pods easily hit 1m +
