Lght, thanks for that, so i assume since its all organic there isnt really a way to burn the roots or leaves or anything? Obviously you cant make the initial brew to strong...

I know its probably still raining, but some photos might be of benifit. I use the 9L buckets for a lot of my plants as well, i have 5 holes on the underside of the buckets, and also another 4 around the sides near the bottom. I dont use a drill however, i use a soldering iron, melts the bucket...

Please do show some pics :) I made sure that the molasses that i got was unsulphured, well at least thats what the lady i bought it from said...so heres hoping. As for stiring the brew i dont think there is any problem of it not being mixed, every couple of hours i was going and looking at it...

    Shadowchilli Grow Log

Been a sort of productive day...repotted a few plants today that were all overwinted. The couple in the front have been repotted, the ones at the back will be done over the next few days... These plants here were repotted quite a while ago (about 2 months) and kept away from all the...

Worm Farm / Worm Tea / Show us yours.

So i have setup my first worm tea brew. Evilbay provided me with an air pump which only cost me $6 including postage. It apparently provides air at a rate of 4L per minute from two tubes with air stones on the end. I made the little bag out of some spare shade cloth i had sitting around, and i...

    Shadowchilli Grow Log

When i was planting these two plants, i actually ran out of my normal mix, hence why there is so much compost in there, lol. My normal mix is around: 50% Potting soil(Bags) 25% Coir 20% Compost 5% Perlite And some blood and bone. I make it in batches in the wheel barrow and then put it in big...

    Megamoo's 2011/2012 Grow Log

Looks like most of the plants are happy, maybe the weather was a little to hot though... also looks strange having flowers on such small plants, but then again some of my overwintered plants have much the same thing, producing flowers low down on the plant and nothing up top. either way, looks...

    Shadowchilli Grow Log

Going against everything everyone has said on here... I actually dont mind if my plants are a little leggy the first year, it makes the main stem taller and means when i cut it back there is a taller plant. In my opinion it means more nodes, more flowers and hopefully more pods for the second...
