Pulpiteer 2016 Grow Log - better late than never.

Thanks!  What part of the state are you in?     Thanks! I'm hearing a warm summer is on the way here (although it's snowing today) so maybe we'll be in for a good season!    Excellent! They are in the stage with the big, fat leaves:     Thanks - they are doing well.  I'm now getting to the...

Pulpiteer 2016 Grow Log - better late than never.

Thanks! We'll see how they do this year. I've heard that it should be a warmer year this year, which may be a good thing for my harvest.     I have 315 pepper plants growing down stairs right now.  I'll give over 200 away though, so it'll settle down.  It should be a big pepper draft this year...

Pulpiteer 2016 Grow Log - better late than never.

Thank you!  Yeah, keep an eye on that new Scotch Bonnet and let me know if you like it.       Thanks!  That room is working out great for my grow area.  Those shelves are really the way to go to get things started.  Very space efficient.     Thank you!     Yeah, I really tried to cut back...

    Shane's 2016 sort-of small grow log...

Man I love this idea with your pool... I've not put a lot of time learning aquaponics, but I'm really curious as to how it's done.  I love the concept.  Thanks for taking us on the ride!

Plants are looking beautiful Charles!   That galap cross certainly looks interesting for sure.     I am glad you decided to grow again this year - even though you tried to get out... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPw-3e_pzqU

Pulpiteer 2016 Grow Log - better late than never.

Thanks! They are coming along nicely.  I enjoy the stage with the big fat green leaves.  I'm already sensing I'm going to have space issues inside before I can get them out...     Thank you Jeff!

Beautiful car, beautiful garden, beautiful dogs! Nice update.     I love the way your garden is set up!  What are the trees you have back there under the woodchips?

Pulpiteer 2016 Grow Log - better late than never.

Wow - thanks for all the responses guys!  And that's why I wanted to do another glog - nice to keep in touch.     I didn't mean to make it so ambitious, but then folks sent some cool seeds and I ordered more... you know how it goes.     Thanks!  I'm excited about those Scotch Bonnets as well...

    chsy83's 2016 narrowed down glog

That's a nice list and nice work keeping it manageable!   It's always good to see those seeds germinate isn't it

Pulpiteer 2016 Grow Log - better late than never.

Here's a shot of the grow shelf - just getting going from a few weeks ago:     Here is the top level where germination happens:     And some seedlings:     My overwintered plants - mostly C. Pubescens:     And a new C. Pubescens - the CAP 1695.  I'm curious what these will look like.      ...

    2016 - JoeFish Arkansas Grown

Glad to see you up and running! I love Baker Creek seed as well.  I didn't see anyone answer you on the Scotch Bonnets (maybe they did and I missed it), but I do not think those are Scotch Bonnets.  I've looked at the same peppers in their online catalog.  I think they are Jamaican Hot...

    Shane's 2016 sort-of small grow log...

It's great to see you doing a glog again!  I just loved the tomato can hole cutter. That was wonderful!   And look at you all high tech with the led's and hydroponics! Nice set up.  I'll enjoy watching what happens!

Pulpiteer 2016 Grow Log - better late than never.

Like the title says, better late than never.  It's been such a busy beginning to the year with work, I've not been able to do much of anything on this website, but I'm going to make a go of it just because this community has been such a good thing in my pepper growing experience.  I want to stay...

    Romy6 2015

Just wanted to pop in here and say thanks for the package! Here's the lovely peppers Jamie sent my way: Awesome - and lots of Baccatums that I think I'll throw right into the dehydrator for some tasty powder. Thanks again!

Pulpiteer 2015 - New Year, New Hopes

The year turned out pretty good - especially compared to last year.  As far as that Scotch Bonnet - it seems to be that real typical scotch bonnet flavor - very good, a bit, I don't know people say smoky, so yeah... not really fruity.  But a good taste and habanero level heat.     I hope so...
