Pulpiteer 2015 - New Year, New Hopes

Yeah, I'm loving the Orioles. It's the first year I've had them. Beautiful birds.  I've heard the same thing about mesh bags and morels around here.  I've also not heard of anyone having luck growing them, until watching that video.  Seemed like a fun idea if nothing else. Even if some do...

Pulpiteer 2015 - New Year, New Hopes

Hey Dennis - good to hear from you.  It's www.thepulpiteer.com     Ok, like all of you, I have been busy this springtime.  Here are a couple of things I have going on.   First, the oriole feeder works! I think you'll be able to see the Baltimore oriole on this one:   Over on the side of the...

One last shot at it... DeNNiZ 2015 glog

You've got a lot going on there! Looks great - I like the water cup method to hold the water and deliver it to the roots.  That makes sense.

PaulS Glog MMXV - Plant Outs :)

Once again, cool video. It reminds me of breathing. At least that's what it looks like to me. Cool to see them progress.   Very cool design for the hydroponic set up. I've never seen that way before. I may actually try that with an extra plant. It's a neat idea.

Garlic is supposed to deter some pests too, so I wonder if that will help the peppers by being there.  It's a good use of space.

Pulpiteer 2015 - New Year, New Hopes

It is, but I'll be holding the plants until they are ready to plant out, so no less work yet... They just don't have the set up I do to keep them.  It won't be long though.  And I've got almost everything out in the greenhouses now, so we're getting somewhere.     It is tons of fun and nice...

Nice work getting them in the ground! And that hoop house is looking good!  Do you have to watch it so it doesn't get too hot during the day?

Pulpiteer 2015 - New Year, New Hopes

Yes it was.  I'll still have over 140 pepper plants to put in the garden, so I'll have more than enough for my needs.  I'll have some tomatoes, squash, melon, beans, and other stuff too.  Hopefully all of that grows better this year than last.  The Arkansas Peach was a popular draft pick, by...

Pulpiteer 2015 - New Year, New Hopes

Thanks!     Yeah, cats or raccoons or there was a skunk around the other night...     Thanks!     Thank you! The cherry tree is a Santina Dark Sweet Cherry.  Here's a link to one at an online nursery.  It's a nice looking tree too - very pleased with its size. Those Baccatums are good stuff! ...

What a cool collection of pepper and critter pictures.  Love the shot of the cat trying to figure out how to get that squirrel.  That picture of that giant sea cockroach or whatever that was, still comes to mind when I check out your glog...

It's that time of year though, isn't it?  Glad to see things moving along so nicely.  Our rhubarb is coming up too, which has me excited.  It's the first year for it to come back in this new...
