LOL - might have nailed it there! Lots of unintentional damage, especially in the kitchen, living with a mastiff. If there's food around, she wants it.

Couldn't resist with all the "fancy baking" going on. What's next? A THP steak contest and winner takes it with the floral arrangement at the center of the table? Even The Swedish Chef, who knows baking, can do spicy meals while ignoring dainty pastries!

Yes I'm politic-ing :drooling: Apparently some one here failed to see the incredible-ness of the Ragin' Cajun Mushroom Swiss Burger with "All Hail Seitan" Bacon This creation was not about the bread or the perfectly-cooked cajun/herbs/chickpea 'burger'. Nor was it about having a marinated...

Creatures from the grow this week.

I *think* it's a Soldierbug or what some call a "wheelbug" or Assassin bug near the eggplant. Looks like one transitioning from nymph to adult and he/she hasn't "browned up" yet. Saw a bunch of Soldierbug nymphs today - they are like nasty looking scorpion things with red tails when small, then...

Did the un-PC thing and voted for myself, only because I'm going to make it again :-) The bacon really tasted like bacon. The mastiff was literally leaning against me anytime I was handling the seitan bacon. A lot of really killer entries this week - lots of creativity out there.

Noticed some bacterial leaf spot issues on leaves - not just in my garden. Opinions wanted

Treated again this evening. After hitting the three "testers" twice with no damage, I did the whole 380 linear row feet. The testers seem to have arrested the spot spread so I'm real happy. Also noticed today that the soldier bugs nymphs around here hatched. They look like mini scorpions with...

I completely despise cell phones. Phasing them out of my life. When did it become OK that everyone can get in instant contact with you any hour of day and wonder why you didn't get in touch with them at 1am on a Sunday (??)

and while we're on bread, this is how the breadcrumbs have to be made! (made too much Tuscan bread at once 2 days ago - what was that you said about guys doing most the baking?? :-)

Watching the last couple TD's, this board definitely needs a "fresh bread" cook-off. More baking going on some in the last 2 rounds than burgering in some of 'em! (the bread looks awesome though!)

PoL shot in case I forgot (this cooking frenzy was fueled by Tito's vodka  ) Grilled 'em on a tortilla press to embed those savinas in 'em.

Just tried Justaguy's Jimmy Scorpion sauce. It's awesome. The 'restrictor' on the cap should have warned me it was going to be spicy. It's hot (and tasty)!

Hijack away! The more knowledge out there the better. The longest I've kept them is 4 months so far in the Unicorn jars once things transitioned to differentiated growth @ 60F., 65% RH and < 100 lumens. Those worked out just fine. In a couple months when I do my next run, I'm going to try and...

    Justaguy's 2012 Garden Season

Hi! Similar symptoms on my leaves and out in the wild on the mountain. We had an unfortunate run of rain and rain and warm and humid, so I'm fairly certain it's bacspot or similar. Tried the suggestion of 0.2% hydrogen peroxide (1 TBSP 3% H2O2 per 8 oz water) and sprayed down three test plants...

OK, just treated @ 0.2% H2O2. Marked the three treated plants with string on the drip tape. How long will it take to notice a difference and should I be treating at sundown? There was some decent cloud cover today and I just had the items out to do it now. Should I try this every day for 5 days...

I'm doing another run on about 2 months to secure/stabilize a great line of Nardellos (from Justaguy!). Will document, picture and post the hell out of those when I do it again. Planning on doing a bunch this Fall as well.
