Habanero plant with two main stems

Hello from a fellow Indiana chilehead! If I were you I would check if it really is two plants because I have a Takanotsume that has two main stems and it does look like two plants.

    seeds CARDI Seedlings

Not sure on those yet since they are still small but I have noticed that on pretty much all others. I'm betting they will lengthen as well. Many of my plants had rounded leaves and they are now normal looking.

    seeds CARDI Seedlings

Now that I think about it a lot of the leaves on my younger plants started out round like you are saying but ended up getting pointier and more tear drop shaped like normal as they grew.

I also have some CARDI Scorps growing (yellow) that are the same way, and they're at about the same stage as yours.

roadhouse's 2010 first year grow thread

Primarily to control weeds but was also helping it could keep in some heat. Seems to be doing that as the soil feels rather warm, not sure on the exact temperature right now, I will have to stick my digital thermometer in it and find out.

roadhouse's 2010 first year grow thread

Thanks everyone. Patrick, as far as wildlife goes I think my main concern is going to be all the deer. I could see them being a help though as long as they don't completely destroy plants. I hear a pruning from them can lead to some explosive growth. Other than that I'm not really sure what...

    wanted ISO: Wild Chile Seeds

I have seen them on there as well, but the prices are just outrageous for seeds. Something in the range of $10-20 for a pack of 5 seeds. Just doesn't seem right to be selling seeds for that much money, even if they are hard to find. Heh that is what it seems like with the wilds. Will have to...

    My wittle Nagas

To your question about light exposure, just leave the light on 24/7.

    My wittle Nagas

More light for sure. They look tiny to me even for getting their first set of true leaves. 22 days since sowed, how many since they popped up? Hate to burst your bubble but I hope you are not planning on planting those outdoors this season and will keep them as indoor plants, it's a little late...

    When should I stop pinching?

I was wondering the same thing. Still not really clear to me even after reading the above responses. 75% of its growth? It seems like that could take another month for mine unless they just go absolutely nuts after they are transplanted. Right now seeing that my chinense plants are in the range...

Heat; it's the bloody heat that is...

Damn, sorry to hear about the heat problems (and cold for others). I hate to brag but I have been having perfect weather. Hasn't rained in a couple weeks, sunny weather throughout, 70s-80s during the day, mid-upper 50s at night, humidity around 50%. My plants are loving it. Sorry!!!

    58 degrees!!

I think you need to be more concerned about them getting scalded by the sun than 58 degree weather.
  17. R

    58 degrees!!

I have some younglings I just put outside and they have been looking better than ever. Lows have been in the lower 50s here too.

    water How long without water...?

What's the longest that your plants have gone without watering or being rained on? I ask because today is now the 11th day since mine last received water, on May 18th. Granted, a family member f&^#ed up royally and bottom watered them for 7 HOURS, as opposed to the usual 15 minutes and they were...

    F&%$$@* Ebay...

I think Bonnie plants confused them with their "World's Hottest" pepper. Clearly they took the seeds from that and since Bonnie doesn't name the plant anything but "World's Hottest" they just assumed it was a Bhut Jolokia LOL
