I'm growing several varieties this year that I actually bought from peppernorth last year. Excellent germination rate on all of the varieties that I tried.

  I've no doubt some d-bag will choose 2 and scupper my chances anyway...  :P   P.S. - thanks for the contest Pex!

I suspect over watering.  I would re-transplant them into a good potting mix ASAP.

I had the same thing happen to me last year. I hope you have better luck with the next round.

I wouldn't buy cheapest when it comes to T5, I bought two cheap T5 fixtures last year and had nothing but problems with them.   Short version of the story:   First one I had to mail back as the ballast blew after a couple of days (I had to pay $$$ shipping charges).   Second one the ballast blew...

  I actually just sent a question to the Pro-mix site yesterday, asking which of their products they recommend for growing peppers in containers.  I got an "out-of-office" reply saying they will be back Monday...  If I get an answer I will post here.

Oops, over two weeks since my last update - I guess I'm spending too much time reading other people's glogs... Here are the overwinters, still fighting the aphids on these, don't think I'm ever going to eliminate them. New growth is coming on all of the plants but a lot of it looks like crap...
