Thanks, Rick. I think I should! That looks killer. We have very little in the way of chipotle here. We have efff all in the way of smoked goods full stop, actually. Australia is well behind on that front. I have quite a few left. I used some in a pickle with some wild brazil's, bonnets, onion...

    Stickman's 2017 Minimalist Glog

One of my favourite things about summer is the dropping of skirts, Rick! :D   28c, lovely!    Were I lived previously was quite scary in the hotter months, lots of wind and plenty of dry, explosive, native Eucalypts. Terrible frosts and a short growing season compared to where I am now. 2hrs...

Thanks, Rick! So far, I have frozen most of the hotter peppers & also Jals for sauces etc. I have found myself using a lot of powder recently though, so I'll dry the rest, I think!

I see sunshine! :D   The Oro looks great! I love the way pubescens look (and grow, being temperate!).   Can't wait to see your season come into full swing!

So, the sun has left me. A couple of semi-ripe pods to go but I think that is my lot. We had intense storms last night and a few plants snapped in half, not such a loss at this stage, though. Time to focus on the indoor.   Here are some pics:   This is going to be a tasty mini batch of powder...

True that! Hope you get some pretty colours soon, mate!   I scored pretty well on that setup, I think. Tent, light, tube, globe, ballast, nutes , ducting and fans for $400. I used ebb and flow or flood and drain in the past but I think I will go DWC, too, this time. 4x separate bubble pots and a...

Yeah, that should keep the girlfriend happy (or rather, happier... Haha). I have a new digital ballast that I can run on 50 or 75%, too. So, I will do that while they're little. Save a little more.

Still got some nice looking pods on the ripen. It's been unseasonably warm here. I feel any more will be little winter pods though. I can see a few heading that way. I'm using a HPS in the tent. I will have the exhaust over the cool tube on a temperature controller :) That's a 100w fluoro in...

Damn, Rick! That's a nice jazzing up of some Shin Ramyum. Have you tried the Neoguri? (also made by Nong Shim). We were buying the Shin Ramyum but have pretty much discarded it for the Neoguri.

    Local's 1st Glog - Perth, Western Australia

Worry not, I spent a fortune on my first big grow and got virtually nothing from (except experience!). When did you start your seeds? I'm thinking a tad late? I know it's colder here in Vic but ideally I would start in July. Not September, as I did this year. Pity about the pests. I just got...

Photo time. The nights are starting to cool here but we have some pretty nice days scattered about. I think I heard that this past March was the warmest in history.   Getting a small harvest like this every week or so. Not as much as I'd like but hey, no complaints!  Pictured here: Scotch...

    another Hp56 "death strain" question

Remember, there were Chocolate Bhutlahs around long before the SM. There was the DM, Judy's, and one other whose initials I forget. But that's another thread unto itself, of which there are many! I wonder how the flavour is on this, too. The Reaper doesn't taste very nice to me at all. But, I...
