    Josh's Plants & Pods 2011

Thanks a lot for the nice comments. It sounds like you are considering in ground gardening? Pots certainly have their advantages but I definitely prefer growing in raised beds. Thank you very much. The material I use is called tulle. With temperatures in the high 80s & up I have quite a...

wanted looking for free hot pepper fruit/seed :S

It is still a little early for trading so try not to be offended if you do not receive many responses. If you revive this thread around October-November everyone should have plenty of seeds. Including me...

    Pictures from AjiJoe - 2011 Grow-Out

Those peach bhuts are really something. It is nice to see this variant retain the Bhut's looks. The purple Bhut is cool looking but doesn't scream Bhut.

shopping Bhut Jolokia Plant (Purchased on Ebay)

Looking good. I think whether or not you should prune the lower leaves is up to you. Some people do it in order to reduce the risk of soil born pathogens. Others to make bug access more difficult. I end up trimming some so I can more easily spread fertilizer around the base of the plant.

seeds Experts needed ! : what is the best way to plant from seed in my country ?

Hopefully Omri or CaptainPepper will drop by. They aren't exactly close to you, but probably the closest THP members. 40C is too hot for seeds. You should probably start them inside. As for what to start them in, that is really a personal choice. Everyone swears by a different method. What...

    Patrick's 2011 Grow Log

That Pimenta Tiger AISPES is really interesting. The photos of the striped pods are cool but so are your shots. As you pointed out, it appears to put on quite a show through all it stages of growth. Have yours begun to show stripes? That Jonah cross is really unique as well. You planning on...

    Josh's Plants & Pods 2011

I almost forgot but one of the comments that was deleted was in regards to seeds. I do not remember which member asked so if you are reading this please PM me. I believe the original post was for Chocolate Bhuts and one other variety. I still am waiting on most of my isolated pods to ripen...

    Josh's Plants & Pods 2011

Thank you. Those Primos are really cool. Smaller than my other 7 Pods but definitely an interesting variety. Thanks. I can't complain. I have more peppers than I know what to do with. Luckily I have a couple family friends who like hot peppers as well. Good luck. I also think it is...

    Guru's 1/8 Acre Fabriculture - 5 yr mothers

I don't really have anything original to add but that was a cool video. The background music was a really nice touch. Your plants look great but that Fatalii is really impressive. It isn't only a huge plant but MORE importantly it is smothered in pods. You are not kidding about knowing what...

    Justaguy's 2011 Garden Season

Nice Bhuts. Sorry to see how the community garden turned out. Did you guys try any type of mulch? That would help with the weeds but then there are still the bugs. All those overgrown plots provide a great home.
