I prefer ripe aphids.

The first pic looks like aphid damage when they get on the small leaves - emerging growth. The fourth pic looks like a bit of extra calcium in the ferts would straighten them out. I've seen worse. Much worse.

Oooh, I have a silly answer too! I don't like purple peppers unripe but they're delish when ripe.

Corked jalapenos, unripe (and ripe!) Greeks, wax get picked when I need them and seldom make it to orange this time of year. I can do red or green bells... or mixed. Green tabascos - still waiting for more than a few ripe ones of those.

Hehee. I'm trying to replicate the greek pickling. I'm convinced these are picked unripe and on the small side due to the ease of packing in a jar... or something. Don't worry ... there's plenty of time for ripe ones later in the season.

Taste them already! Hehehe. We ate a bunch of mine in some salad the other day. The final verdict is "just OK" on the flavor but way better on the anti-browning. The one limed pepper that had some brown seeds must have been a fluke because the others were fine. Gonna do the next harvest (soon!)...

Nah, they're kind of floppy and need a support system unless you want them to drag the ground. ;)

Just remember to start them with light weights and lots of reps. Don't want to pull something at the beginning of the season. ;)
