How much root space is needed for a pepper plant to mature in an aeroponics system? Most systems seem to have multiple plants in small spaces. I was thinking of using a 20 gallon Rubbermade storeage tote I have and putting two in it?
Been reading up a lot on it, looks like a fun inside plant...

You can pretty much fry anything else and make it edible.

The rate Im going, Im going to be eating Bolivian rainbows. All the plants I have in the ground seem stunted, granted the weather hasn't been great. Sure wish my seeds would get started. Moving this spring put me wayyyyy behind.
Now I know why they are an ornamental. YUCK! Dad has one and has had it for a couple years now and pulled some ripe pods off to dry. I popped one and just about puked. Terrible flavor. Any of yall eat them. Produces a lot of pods not to be useful.

I may try on top of the flouro lights. Right now I have a batch in the mini green houses in a window seal....one with 36 peat pots and the others are the small 10 cell Burpee green houses....2 each....temps cant be much above 70 in them with the clouds today and yesterday.....the others are in...
Saw a Bonnie truck at Lowes today....started to ask them why they list it as hottest in the world...then shrugged and walked away and figured they wouldn't understand even if I did correct them.
How important is consistant soil/peat/coir fiber temperature? I don't have a heating mat so I use the greenhouses outside and they go from probably 60s at nite to once up to 90s. Try to only give it shade near a sunny place or broken up sunlite for heat. Planted tuesday and wednesday obviously...
heck I bet I didnt spend $50 a year at lowes prior to gift cards...and growing peppers...and that's including a $20 gift card I get my dad every year lol...usually went to sears for tools and dumpster dive construction sites when I need lumber or plywood lol....filled in the gaps with the rest.
haha...thanks for the opinions...5 gallon buckets....got all I need of those lol...couldnt imagine having to pay for them.
As far as hydro goes...millwork, what do you have? Ive seen them vary so much I have no idea where to start....may or may not try it...depending on how complicated and...
