    Is this a brain strain?

Madhatter is right. Both look so close to each other that it is very hard to say which is which. I have tasted both this year on early pods. In my experience, he is also right on how they hit you, but the marouga was a bit hotter than the brain. Nothing has hit my tongue as hard as the...

chinense So I give a guy I know one of my Scorpions to try.

I haven't seen them do it, but have seen the damage. I have lost 2 bhuts, a choco hab, black naga, trinidad congo, and a caribbean red to birds so far this year. jacob

    Preparing Seeds

Yeah, but the incans didn't grow over 100 varieties of corn and switch them up every year, so I don't think long term storage of the seeds was on their minds either. I don't plan on growing every variety I have every year. I will grow my favs every year, and try new ones as well. It may be 5...

    Black Naga

Nothing turning colors yet here. A couple pods look full size though, so it's just a matter of time. Pods are bigger than those on my naga morich though. Looks more like my choco bhuts than naga morichs. Time will tell though I guess. Raining right now. I will try to get some pics...

    Next Victim

I vote for the yellow 7 as well. It is hot, but not quite as hot as the other 7's. The bhut should be hotter than that, at least hotter than the yellow 7's I have tried. jacob

    Trini Scorp CARDI

Well, I tasted it yesterday. No camara to make a video, but I gotta say that the flavor is one of the best I have tried yet. Very sweet and fruity without an overwhelming heat. In fact this one wasn't very hot as well. Maybe around a hab or a little less. Maybe future pods will be a little...

    Brito's Pepper Plantation

Those are beautiful, Brito. Very thick flesh. I am hoping to try my first rocoto this year hopefully. Started them too late and too hot right now to set, so hopefully in the fall. jacob

    Trini Scorp CARDI

Just had my first one ripen this weekend. I have a pic of it yet, but haven't uploaded it yet. I will get it in a little while. Nice scorpion shape and an orangish yellow. All my yellows are dark this year though. I think it is too much sun because the half of the CARDI that was shaded was...

    Alphids!?

Those aphids are some pesky bastards that's for sure. A couple more applications will get them under control. Ladybugs will clean them off quick if you can keep them there. I had a fatalii plant this year that had probably a hundred or so aphids on it a couple of weeks after plant out and...
