Hey mate I let my plants wilt before watering as to avoid overwatering, but I only let them wilt a little. It doesn't get as hot down here in NZ compared to you guys in Oz so I don't have any problems with "intense summer heat", although I wish I did! Interesting topic, I am quite keen to see...

cheers guys! quick question for you all. My Scotch Bonnet is about 18cm tall (7inch) but very bushy. For the last month and a half It has been trying to bud like crazy but I have been pinching them off to try and encourage the plant to grow larger. At the moment it has about 20-30 buds on it...
