would it hurt to try and grow it as a experiement to see if it would at the end of the day if you start it growing in a small pot and keep it seperate so it doesn't effect the rest of your crop. whats the worst that could happen you end up with a pot with a rotted seed...

I think the penny might have droppe. In my infinant wisdom I let the soil go bone dry and it says in the chilli mans guide to keep moist. Oh well back to the old drawing board with seeds.

Just a quick question I have cut my chillis ready for over wintering. Do i need to keep them any where special(ie airing cupboard)? Can I leave them in the compost or do I need to dry root them?

Quick question. If I wanted to grow my chilli plants on the windowsill what would be the best size pot for me to use? I know the easy answer is as large as possible but i would like to put quite a few chillis on the windowsill.
