Certainly, I've got quite a few of them. I think that might be edema, but it's occurring on different plants, in different places around my house where I grow peppers. I do not think it's something that is spreading.    

On the white powder and mites note, I think I'm experiencing something similar (except the burns). Looking through a 28X mag glass, I do not see anything special just magnified white deposits, nothing moves, no copper or bronze like coloration. Could those still be mites or other pests ? I also...

Dude! ... nothin' on my potato, it just went dark brown. I don't get it! Potato has been in there for 16 hours. I've seen 3-4 busters flying around when I checked the potato. I will get a bigger potato, put each cut side in different parts of the pepper area, maybe that'll do.

I wouldn't play with a hot tip on the bottom of the can. I've already done that when I had seeds in the soil and didn't like the sound the tip makes when hits the moist soil. I do not want to think what will happen if you have roots growing down there. I would just wait instead and maybe re-pot...

How do you lay it out that is so effective ? I have put my tape but it barely caught tens or so in a couple of days. I have put a second tape and that caught even less and there are plenty still flying around. Am I missing something there ?

What about humidity ? Does it matter at all ? Or to put it another way, what's your humidity levels ?

Same thing happening here, but when do you actually start watering again ? Is this when leaves are wilting ? I fear the whole plant may wilt. Come to think of it, this could have lead me to overwatering in the first place.
