I know. I was just really looking forward to my 7 pods since everyone speaks highly of them on here. At least I still have my Douglahs. All my other seeds I bought on eBay were legit. Believe it or not, my Bhut Jolokias were authentic. Bought them from karmalies0805. I will be adding him...

    Help Identifying Pepper

Can anyone help me identify this pepper. I'm not going to say what it should be so that I don't bias the thread. These 2 just started turning color yesterday. They turn deep red when ripe. It's obviously not what it was supposed to be, and I know what everyone is going to say, but I just want...

I just had a mild hail storm 2 days ago while I was at work. Only heavily damaged 2 plants, but I think they will make it. I'm glad I didn't have one like yours or I would be counting casualties. :tear:

What is eating my superhot pods?

I had those beetles on a few of my plants. I saw one chowing down on an aphid, so I didn't kill them. No damage to my peppers yet. I don't think it's the beetles.

Fresno's are actually great tasting peppers. Though not that hot, they make great sauces. I love them.

Thanks. Well, if they are Habaneros, they "should" be red savina since thats what I ordered, but I'm not too hopeful. What about the second plant?

How often to apply epsom salt?

I put it in my spray bottles (1/2 strength) and spray my plants every night. They love it. I think it just takes a little experimenting. I don't think you can over do it from what I have read about Epsom salt. I could be wrong, which is not the first time.

    fertilizer Fertilizers

I've been using "Watch us Grow" which is 8-8-8, however I only use 1/2 strength. It seams to work very well (2 week feeding cycle). I've also been using fish emulsion every other feeding, however you have to be very careful and use A LOT LESS than what the instructions say because it will burn...

    Ants??

One good thing I did read about D Earth is that is is very good wetting agent, and can be added your soil to retain moisture. I'm not sure if it changes the pH though. So far it's not a very good ant repellent.

    Ants??

Ok, so I bought some Diatomaceous earth a couple of days ago and sprinkled it around the base of my plants and at the base of the pots (messy stuff). Ants were all up in it, however today they are still there. I read that the D earth de-hydrates the ants due to the fact that it's so fine that...
