I just had a mild hail storm 2 days ago while I was at work. Only heavily damaged 2 plants, but I think they will make it. I'm glad I didn't have one like yours or I would be counting casualties. :tear:

I had those beetles on a few of my plants. I saw one chowing down on an aphid, so I didn't kill them. No damage to my peppers yet. I don't think it's the beetles.

What kind of soil are you using? The soil may not being giving the roots enough room to establish themselves.

Fresno's are actually great tasting peppers. Though not that hot, they make great sauces. I love them.

I have 2 mystery pepper plants that I need help identifying. The first one looks "to me" like habanero, however I'm not sure. Mystery Plant 1 Mystery Plant 2

I put it in my spray bottles (1/2 strength) and spray my plants every night. They love it. I think it just takes a little experimenting. I don't think you can over do it from what I have read about Epsom salt. I could be wrong, which is not the first time.

I've been using "Watch us Grow" which is 8-8-8, however I only use 1/2 strength. It seams to work very well (2 week feeding cycle). I've also been using fish emulsion every other feeding, however you have to be very careful and use A LOT LESS than what the instructions say because it will burn...

One good thing I did read about D Earth is that is is very good wetting agent, and can be added your soil to retain moisture. I'm not sure if it changes the pH though. So far it's not a very good ant repellent.
